I was very impressed by Dr. Bierbrauer. I am hoping to have surgery this summer on one of my thumbs to start. Dr. Bierbrauer was very patient with me when I met him. He explained what needs to be done and why. I think he will do a wonderful job on my hands starting sometime this summer.

Outstanding surgeon
I have been a patient with Dr. Bierbrauer for over 10 years. He has completed four surgeries on my hands and arms. No issues with any of my surgeries with. He gives you options and the best recommendations for your health issues. At my postoperative visit this month, Dr. Bierbrauer taught me “can’t is not in my vocabulary”and the key to a quick recovery!I highly recommend Dr. Bierbrauer and his team.

Difficult!
The surgery went well but I would not recommend Dr Bierbrauer. Communication was difficult and stressful! It felt like an impersonal assembly line with no regard for my concerns or questions. He spent maybe 45 seconds examining my hand and instantly diagnosed it. His team took 3 to 7 days to respond to two different message questions via portal or phone as if my concerns were unimportant. At most appointments Dr Bierbrauer was very impatient, arrogant and condesending and was noticeably irritated with me in our short 5-10 minute encounter. It really intimidated me! Then, at my final post surgery appt his mood and attitude were friendly and patient. It was a pleasant surprise! I would dred working with someone this MOODY!

I have worked in healthcare for over 30 years and have worked with surgeons. As a patient, Dr. Bierbrauer treated me with disdain and rudeness. He was arrogant, condescending and spent less than 5 minutes assessing my problem. He may be a highly skilled surgeon, but he lacks kindness and compassion that every patient deserves.

Helped me so much!
Dr. Bierbrauer did a surgery on my thumb for arthritis. He thoroughly explained everything, answered all of my questions, and has a wonderful bedside manner. The surgery went extremely smooth, and has completely relieved my hand from any pain. The surgery also has restored the strength in my hand. I highly recommend him! The doctor and his team handled everything exquisitely from start to finish.

Pain free in 24 hours
Very little wait time and I actually arrived at work on time - always a plus. I was notified when an earlier appt time was available so less time I had to endure pain. The doctor was very nice and the procedure was short and sweet with minimal pain.

Very Rude and arrogant
Our first visit he was very rude and arrogant for the whole two minutes We got to see him. The next visit over two hour wait in the waiting room and a half hour wait once we got back in the doctors office. After carpal tunnel surgery, I can’t seem to get a hold of anybody to know when the stitches come out, this is been a truly awful experience

Amazing Doctor for Broken Wrist
Dr. Bierbrauer was great! I broke my wrist in July and the team was quick to get me in for my first appointment, schedule multiple follow-up visits quickly and around my schedule, and helped get me back using my wrist in 6 weeks with the help of the amazing PT office next door! Very informative and straight to the point. I appreciated the follow-up X-rays, as needed, to show I was healing properly.

No regard for people's time
I was left waiting in a waiting room for 45 minutes before being taken in for my scheduled appointment. It's an insult to people to schedule them for a time to show up ask them to be there 15 minutes early and then ignore them and not see them in any sort or reasonable time. This appointment was scheduled months in advance.

Great job
Dr Bierbrauer did a fantastic job on my wrist and elbow, explained all the steps leading up to surgery. Surgery was successful and already gaining feeling back on my fingers, almost full motion in my elbow and it's only been 2 weeks. I know not all will heal quickly but I have so far and Dr Bierbrauer couldn't have done a better job. Thank You.

Condescending and rude
Horrible experience with David Bierbrauer. Took my daughter for examination of a broken finger and he looked at the xray, told us no need for surgery and began speaking to me like I was a toddler when I asked if her finger would heal correctly. This after he did not even bother to remove the bandage to actually assess the finger. He was condescending, rude and arrogant. I did find other patient reviews describing a very similar experience with this guy. I guess since she did not need surgery he had no interest in actually assessing her injury. The whole appointment with him lasted about 5 min, then he sent his aid to splint the finger and that was it. No written care instructions, discharge summary, nothing. We were told to come back in 3 weeks, so he can reassess . No thanks. I am a retired RN and have worked with doctors that actually save lives and know how to take care of patients. Not this guy.
