Dr. David Buckland, DO

Dr. Buckland is the kind of doctor who takes his time with you. He talks to you extensively to determine your healthcare needs and situation and then comes up with a solution or treatment for your problem. In the 13 plus years that he was my Neurologist, I can't think of a better doctor and human being other than my primary care doctor.

Awful experience. Kept us waiting over an hour Staff acknowledge that they couldn’t find him. Maybe he was driving? There was no apology offered. His bedside manner is disgusting. We will never return.

Dr. Buckland and staff were late arriving to the practice and had us waiting over an hour. He was condescending and arrogant while talking with my son and kept interrupting/correcting him while he was trying to give details on his medical history and what he feels and experiences during his seizures. When my son told him that he was being unprofessional, Dr. Buckland huffed and slammed his paperwork on the exam table, got up and left the room. We would not recommend this practice to anyone seriously seeking medical help.

Wow. The one star reviews, I totally get, but the five?? I can't imagine where those came from, except possibly Dr. Buckland himself as a desperate form of damage control. He was rude and condescending, made a comment about "too many cooks in the kitchen" to dismiss me when I tried to provide medical history, and was unable to connect/empathize with his patient as a human being on any level whatsoever. I can only surmise that he, himself, takes up a couple of pages in the DSM V (he certainly ticks the boxes of a personality disorder or two) and cannot be rehabilitated. Highly recommend avoiding this jerk at all costs.

This is the Best Doctor I have ever seen. He know what was wrong after talking to me and he took care of the problem right away. Didn't make me wait on results from test. Didn't insult me for any of my medical issues like other doctor's have done in the past. I would recommend this Doctor very knowledgeable.

Do Not Go Here. I have tried this practice twice. Both Mandell and Buckland, both are arrogant, dismissive, and rude. Went for epilepsy. While I'm trying to give them a basic patient history rather than listening to what other Neurologist have done, they tell me that they didn't know anything. Buckland even pointed toward one of his framed degree's "see I have a degree in that." Great so you should know more. Wrong.

I have never had any negative experiences with this practice. Dr. Buckland is an amazing doctor!! Very caring, compassionate, and kind. He listens to understand his patients and does all he can to provide great care. I highly recommend him.

RUDE! When I questioned results of my father's CT scan, he got angry and said he had already yold me. Apparently not well enough for me to understand and I am not ignorant. He threw the test result down in front of me on the desk. I just needed a little more explanation to understand father's dementia. Could not believe his behavior. WON'T GO BACK!

Very rude staff and Dr Buckland is very rude and treats the patient as tho they have a doctrine. Doesn’t explain your medical condition in terms you can understand and promptly gets mad when you ask for him to explain. Would not recommend nor go back. And good luck on getting the staff to return phone calls had to go in person to get an appointment. Not professional at all!!!

Good luck with getting their office to call you back, I even had my referring physician to call them again with no return calls. So I had to go to their office in person two months after ct scan. Dr is very rude and arragant Treats me as though I was a neurologist or of doctrine degree. I do not recommend nor will I go back.

Dr. Buckland blew me away with hi methodical approach to diagnosing my headache issue. I was extremely impressed and pleased. I would highly recommend him.

I came to Dr. Buckland with unknown blackouts, pain, and was truly an overall mess! Most professional, patient and thorough treatment. TRUE compassion for his patients and a great bedside manner. Through his dilligence and reaching out to colligues, I was referred and subsequently diagnosed with chronic PTSD and severe anxiety that manifested physically. Love him!
