I was disappointed that a physician with his experience and credentials would be so contradictory with his treatment advice

His behavior was appalling! He was insulting, condescending, accusatory and dismissive. My primary wanted me to move my annual appointment w/him to see him sooner as a result of an echocardiogram report which she found concerning. He completely dismissed all of it, saying it was normal and accused me of silliness and wrote in his report "giddiness". My husband witnessed all of this and was shocked by his behavior. His advice was to "eat more salt." After listening to doctors for decades advising to use less salt, I questioned that and he accused me of "silliness". Is this the kind of attidude we should expect from doctors? I think not. Stay far from him. He doesn't deserve to be practicing medicine!

Dr. Callans and the staff took excellent care of me. The listened and answered all of my questions and took the time to make sure I was ok with the treatment decisions. Dr. Callans really is excellent at what he does and is concerned about his patients.
