Does Not Do Ear/Balance Procedure!!
I called and made an appointment for vertigo/balance issues. My appt. was scheduled for 10.20 a.m. I was called back at exactly 10:20. I was told to sit in this chair. I could see the doctor walking past the room about 4 or 5 times. He finally came in at 10:40. He introduced himself and asked two or 3 questions, looked in my ears, nose. throat, waved his finger across my eyes, and asked me to follow his finger. He sat at his desk and said, 'I'm sending you to physical therapy,' and I asked for what? He said so they can treat you. The entire visit with the doctor was less than 5 minutes. So I told him, 'When I called your office, I was told that your office did that.' He said, 'We used to do that, but that person is no longer here, so I send people to therapy.' I asked him why was I falsely misled that his office did the ear and balance procedure?' It is clearly stated on his webpage. Why accept an office visit, knowing you can't do the procedure?

Very Upset Visit – Jan 11, 2024

Bad bedside manner
I found him to be very unprofessional when he found a mass in my mouth and said “Nope I am not going to touch this “ and referred me to another doctor. This is not what you want to hear from your doctor.

Kind smart man
Dr Cangcuesta listens intently and asks insightful, thoughtful questions. Very knowledgeable about his field, and makes sure patients are active decision makers in their own care. Just a truly wonderful man. Treats my family members as well as he treats me.

Appointment was at the end of the day and the doctor saw me for less than 5 minutes and looked at my ear for no more than a second at most before telling me it was probably my jaw causing pain. Had to wait an hour to get zero answers. Didn't even address the ringing in my ear or the fact that it feels full and my hearing is muffled.
