WORD of CAUTION
Horrific. 24 years ago Dr. Chan told me that if I didn't remove my stomach I would die within two years. 24 years later, I am alive and kicking- no thanks to Dr. Chan.

Thank you, Dr Chan
We had a very positive consultation experience with Dr Chan. During an extremely difficult time, he provided us with knowledge on my specific condition, patience answering all of our questions, and reassurance that we have effective treatment options available. His office works quickly to get insurance approvals and schedule for follow up.

I am in the sixth year of progressive treatments for stage 4 metastatic breast cancer as prescribed by Dr. Chan. Each treatment has reduced the tumor and prevented the cancer from spreading. At age 75 I am still working full time and feeling great. I praise Dr. Chan for his compassion and knowledge.

He is an amazing doctor. He was so patient with me. He explained everything to me and my husband. He made sure I was comfortable with everything he was telling me. He was also very informative with giving me all the knowledge there was to know about treatments, procedures, and diagnosis. I knew I was in good hands within the first 5 minutes of meeting him. I would highly recommend Dr. Chan.

David Chan is the epitome of what you want and need in an oncologist. I’ve had breast cancer twice, 17 years apart. He is so compassionate and concerned. At one point I went into his office for regular appointment, I was so sick he called paramedics to get me from there. Then he called me at the hospital the next day, not to talk to a nurse or hospitalist, but to me. His reputation is stellar.

Dr. Chan is so nice and I know that he is passionate about his patients. There have been times where he has given me not-so-good news, and I was angry with him. He was empathetic towards my feelings and he did not take anything personally. I totally recommend Dr. Chan to anybody going through this terrible process. I know he made me feel at ease while i was going through chemo, and I appreciate him.

Horrible bedside manner. My mother was a patient of his. He rarely met with her despite her begging the receptionist when she began to have an adverse reaction to medication. Patients are managed by nurse practitioners instead or him. The nurse practitioners are very friendly, smart, and helpful. However, Dr. Chan is the opposite. He rarely returns phone calls, and is not forthcoming with information. Patients must do a great deal of leg work and question asking to understand their health.

Dr Chan Was my oncologist when I was 26 years old 19 years ago. I was diagnosed with Large Cell Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage 2 and he was a wonderful Doctor. I went through CHOP Chemo and Radiation and this Cancer never came back. I was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer Dbl Negative HER2. Once again Dr Chan was my Oncologist. Between the Chemo and a Dbl Mastectomy I am once again completely cancer free. I recommend Dr Chan to anyone with cancer.
