Disappointed
I had an appointment on Dec. 4, 2024. I pre-registered for my visit. While filling out the form, a question was brought forth concerning the location of my pain. I indicated both hands were the problem. Also, there was a comment and description section to further describe the problem. I elaborated the concerns of my pain, making it very clear that my hands are the issue. I took off work, drove to the office on Nall, I payed my co-pay and waited to see the Dr. Upon seeing Dr. Clymer, I was amazed to find out he can not help me. He is a FOOT Dr. Does anyone bother to read the pre-registration information? I was both disappointed and annoyed.

I have made 3 trips to pharmacy with no luck
Dr. Clymer was excellent.,my problem was getting my prescription to the right pharmacy. During my initial visit, I provided the name and address and they supposedly sent it to the wrong pharmacy on three different occasions. Finally got it right when I made a special trip to the doctor’s office

Understanding and caring
From Deborah at the front desk to his head nurse, they were both so sweet and kind. My injury from what I’ve found is one that usually takes a week or two to get surgery. I was in so much pain, and Dr Clymer listened and worked to get me into surgery the next morning. I definitely recommend him and can’t express how much I appreciate him for getting me into the OR so quickly.

Great experience
Dr. Clymer is excellent, he did my total hip replacement 8 weeks ago and I'm doing great. He does not push you to have any procedure done, just tells you the diagnosis and then you decide if you want to proceed. I'm glad I had it done, everyone here is fantastic.

Not a great experience
Was referred to KC Ortho Alliance for knee pain. Initial appointment setting process was fine, facility seemed nice. Front office staff and medical staff were all very nice. They had trouble finding my X-rays that were sent to them and tried to get me to take more while there. Found them after 30min. Dr. Clymer saw me for 5min, didn't listen to my complaints, just twisted my knee and sent to MRI. Got MRI and waited for a follow up. Didn't receive a call for 2 weeks. I finally called to come back in. Dr Clymer saw me for 5min again. Said he didn't see anything he could do but that I should schedule something with someone else in his office about PRP or STEM Cell injections. I asked why wasn't that mentioned before and why wasn't that consult part of this visit. He just shrugged it off. did not receive a call back to schedule other visit either. I made an appointment to get a second opinion from somewhere else. Much better experience so far. Surgery is scheduled for next week already.

Horrible person
Telehealth
He laughed at my pain. He clapped he hand and said pain he gone. Now what do I want him to do. I said your the doctor he didn’t like that he went in on me. He lucky I wasn’t a man. Very rude. And I will leave my name.

Excellent Doctor
This is my 2nd knee replacement that Dr. Clymer performed. He came and spoke to me before surgery, talked to my husband after surgery, and visited me during my hospital stay. Prior to surgery, he gave me other alternatives to surgery if I choose. Always answers my questions and he is kind.

Dr. Clymer and Apex Orthopedic make you feel as though your problems are going to be relieved. I knew I was not the first with this pain or problem and this medical staff approached it as something they had relieved many times. I still believe that to be true. Thanks to all those in the healthcare industry. You made a difference for me, simply to be able to walk.
