Could've wing me off my meds.
Whenever you knew that it was hard to find a doctor. I ask you to start winging me off and u did till a certain amount that I'm stuck with either going to a doctor over an hour away and I am on disability so I really can't afford to go down there and maybe get meds but I don't have a money tree. You told me that if I had any problems to call the office number and it would be forwarded to u. Well just like other doctors talk to you whenever they want to get rid of a patient. I did everything by the book never had to call because I had ran out of meds. Now I am left in the dark should have known but Dr Cook can be nice but don't know what is said whenever you leave. Told me that I was his only patient taking that much med. We'll I didn't prescribe it to myself so everything isn't my fault. Thanks for leaving me hanging. Don't recommend because he's retired so I was told.

Excellent! Is he always on time? No. Do I care? No. Because he takes the time necessary with every patient. He's not 20 minutes per patient doctor I've been a patient of Dr. Cook's for years and he is, without a doubt, not only brilliant, but compassionate. He was able to diagnose my condition which left 10 other physicians baffled. He understands the needs of pain management, especially in this current atmosphere where all pain management meds are considered "bad" He is willing to put up with the constant overwatch by state and federal agencies to defend his decisions. (I don't think that's been easy.) He also is very careful to do drug screens to ensure that patients are taking their medication and/or not abusing it. With his help I've been able to reduce my dosage dramatically over the past 6 years, although it may not have been the best choice for me, he has to work within what the law makers and federal and state agencies (none of whom are chronic pain patients) will allow.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cook's for 23 years. He is a brilliant medical professional and one of the few with the ability to diagnose unusual or little known conditions. He takes the time to really listen to your concerns and will conduct research to find new or better treatment options for a patient. He's extremely disciplined and careful to ensure patients are using medications appropriately. He is genuinely concerned about the care of the patients in his care.

Dr. Cook sexually harassed and inappropriately touched me. I have never spoken of this on any public forum, but now I feel I must in case there are other women who are at risk. At the time, I felt I had no recourse because few doctors understood my disease or were willing to treat it, and Dr. Cook offered a wealth of knowledge that I felt offered me hope. Dr. Cook exploited my need for care and my vulnerability as a young woman.

Dr. Cook is by far the most thorough and knowledgeable physicians I have ever seen. He is dedicated to his patients. I would follow him anywhere he went for giving me back my quality of life. He has educated me on my condition and my child's very rare condition.

Dr. Cook is one of the few doctors that really cares about his patients. I have been seeing Dr. Cook since 1999 when he moved I moved with him. Yes I could go to another doctor that would accept my insurance, but I don't think I would get the same care. I wish I could give Dr Cook, Tracy and Sandra more stars. Thanks for all you do and giving me my life back.

Once again, after a visit with another specialist I'm finding myself missing the compassion and personal care and thoroughness of Dr. Cook. (Still being my Neurologist I'm forced to see other specialists for other injuries.) These other doctors have nothing on the kindness and welcomed sympathy I have as a patient of Dr. Cook. He not only treats your symptoms but talks you through the process and educates you on the illness. I've never met or have been treated by a more compassionate M.D.~Janice
