The Best
I have seen Perry Internal Medicine grow over the years and I have grown with them. I enjoy the times I have an appointment. From the moment I walk in the door, everyone is smiling and friendly and professional. When I get my blood pressure taken, there are more smiles and laughter. When I get to a room, Dr. Cox or Amanda are thorough, knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and great listeners. When I leave, I don’t feel like I was at a doctor’s appointment, I feel like I was visiting family. I am thankful I found them. If I could give them a million stars, I would.

Exceptional
Dr Cox is an everything you want in a Doctor. He is kind and caring. He is exceptionally smart. His PA’s are very much like him. They are kind and smart and very capable. I actually like going to this doctors office. I know I will be treated well and feel better afterwards. Short wait time and receptionist is usually nice.

Impeccable care
In all of my 66 years this was one of the best experiences ever. The care and attention rendered by the PA Heather Sorrows by answering my questions and was very attentive to my concerns. From the receptionist to the nurses and doctors I received the kind of care we expect. This practice is truly concerned about the patient. I left feeling like not a number but a patient. They over deliver expectations of concern. I was truly blessed to be a patient of this practice. They are amazing and it was an incredible experience.

I have been a patient for several years. I haven’t minded never seeing Dr. Cox because Heather is an excellent PA; however, I don’t like the new receptionist. Make up looks like a witch and her personality isn’t patient friendly. Heather provided excellent t care as always. Weird vibes today for sure.

Thanks
I found this office online to take my elderly parent to who has not been on top of his medical care for a while. When I walked in, I realized I didn't have to make an appointment because two people walked in for an appointment without any issues, I like that I can bring my dad in even if he doesn't have an appointment. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. I was worried about my dad by Dr. Cox was forthcoming and reassuring. I left feeling like we had gotten answers to problems no one else could figure out. I thank the whole office for their help.

Dr. Cox took care of my mom in the hospital. I was worried about her being in the ICU with COVID but Dr. Cox eased my fears. He explained all the procedures and protocols needed at great length. He was available to answer my questions and even updated my family after he’d already spoken to me. I know he had other patients in the hospital to see but he made us feel like he had unlimited time for us. He was also very knowledgeable about COVID which was comforting because our family was worried. Above all, he was kind. I am grateful to Dr. Cox for the excellent care he gave my mom and us as the family.

Hidden Gem
I've received nothing but great care from Dr. Cox. Dr. Cox and his staff are like that hidden gem restaurant no one knows about and you are lucky you found! I originally went to two other doctors before I found Dr. Cox and they were not good-I was drawn to a more modern building and good reviews that I assumed to be accurate, but I was misled; the doctors, staff, and overall process how things were ran was terrible. He patiently answers questions, does not delay in ordering images or bloodwork or tests when indicated, refers me to specialists in a timely manner, and sends my prescriptions to the pharmacy before I leave the appointment. I don’t have issues with getting refills. His holistic approach to health care leaves no stone unturned and he digs until he finds the root of the problem instead of trying to put a Band-Aid on a problem like other doctors do.

Dr. Cox gets it. From his excellent treatment, curiosity, investigative mind and ability to connect, you know where you stand immediately and what the next steps look like. Attention doctors, if you want a masterclass in watching a doctor bring medical knowledge and build rapport so that message is heard by patient and therefore delivered, watch this guy.

First visit with Dr. Cox. I didn't have to wait long even though I forgot to fill out my paperwork before I got there. The front office was nice and accommodating. Guy doing my blood pressure was nice. Dr. Cox was thorough and easy to talk to. He gave me a plan that I could understand and set up all the tests I needed. He was able to give me answers to a problem I have had for years that no one else in Perry could figure out. I want to thank him for listening when no one else would.

Best Doctor
Dr. Cox is a great doctor. I have been seeing him for almost 7 years now and he listens to my concerns and takes good care of me. The staff is nice and treats me like family when I come in. I don't have any issues scheduling appointments and it is easier now through the portal I can schedule my own appointments. I like the new office too. James is the best nurse he talks to me and puts me at ease so I know what to expect. I recommend Dr. Cox and staff.

Dr. Cox has been instrumental in saving my life. He has gone above and beyond when other doctors did not take the time. He caught things other doctors missed. I would not be here today if it were not for Dr. Cox. He also took excellent care of a family member in the hospital. Thank you for all you have done for me and my family.

I have been going to Dr. Cox for the past six years. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I've had to see one of his Nurse Practitioner's a time or two if Dr. Cox was attending to other patients and they've been great. I don't particularly like their phone service but everything else was excellent. I highly recommend this office.

They take advantage of people in crisis. They don’t answer their phones. They have you sign things but they don’t explain them. They are extremely evasive about the treatment program. I should’ve paid more attention to the previous reviews, but I gave them a try anyway. That was a bad decision on my part.
