Broken Ankle
My broken ankle was an accident. Dr. Dixon got me right in for an appointment. His staff & nurses were very caring. His bedside manner is wonderful. He made me feel confident in having the surgery. I feel that I lucked out by getting him with my unfortunate fall. I give nothing but praise to Dr. Dixon. Thank you.

Very wait to get call for surgical date
After X-ray and a year of conservative treatment with orthotics , ankle supports and Physical therapy that did not work, Dr Dixon ordered an MRI. It took 2 weeks waiting after MRI to get an appointment for the results. He said I have multiple tears in one tendon and tears in the other tendon so surgery was necessary and that the scheduler would call with the date. It has been more than a week with no call. I called after 3 days and left a message to be sure she had my name. The messages said don’t leave multiple messages. So I waited a week , then called regular scheduler to ask if this was normal. She looked up my record and surgical scheduler noted that she received my call and would call so I should hear soon. I submitted a complaint asking why there is over a week wait with no call. Still no call. On the patient portal there are no results of the MRI , no information at all and no way to message Dr Dixon. Will post update when resolved so I can plan my life!

Fifty and fractured
“I can fix it”. Those were the first words that he said to me when I went to him after sustaining fractures in my ankle and leg. 15 weeks since my injury I have made a complete recovery and it is due to his skill and competence. If you have an ankle and or foot issue, don’t see a general orthopedic surgeon, go see Dr. Dixon to get the specialty care you need.
