awful staff , didnt spen more than 5 minutes speaking to him he passes everything off to shannon who was very good, but he doesnt do anything.

I got a drive up COVID test at Genesis Medical Group on FM 249. They billed my insurance $627.88 for the test and then $800.00 the next day for a teleconference with a Dr. David Ellent. That phone conference never took place. I never saw a doctor and a doctor never called me. He is an oncologist and CEO of Genesis Medical Group. Draw your own conclusions.

I loved this doctor but he has the worst staff I've ever dealt with. Front office is sulky or rude. Support staff loses information and does not return calls. Nurses are ok but I've seen better. I switched to another doctor

Dr. Ellent has saved my life! About 3 years ago, I went to my regular doctor for a yearly physical. Some parts came out abnormal, and the doctor told me that he will refer me to a GI specialist for further testing. It took forever for the doctor to give me a referral and about 2 months later, I was finally able to see a GI. That GI doctor also did some testing and told me that I may have pancreatic cancer, but I would need another referral and a further testing. However, that referral never happened due to reasons I never understood. From what I knew about pancreatic cancer, it spreads fast and extremely difficult to treat. I could not just sit and wait, so I sought out for 2nd opinion, and found another doctor. Fortunately, this doctor acted quickly and was able to connect me to Dr. Ellent. He was very caring, kind, knowledgeable, and ultimate professional! Dr. Ellent and all his staff are truly the best! Because of them, I am still alive and going strong 3 years later. Th

I have been a patient of Dr. Ellent's for over a year now. He is a very smart man and a great doctor.

Very negative experience. 1. Never sent Rx to pharmacy 2. When called inquiring about Rx, receptionist (Katy) immediately became combative and belligerent. 3. After my complaint, she profanely stated I should look for another doctor if I was unhappy with their service. Then she hung up. 4. Showed no customer service, decorum, concern or empathy for patient's concerns.
