The staff is not competent, they dont write anything down and choose to argue with you . Obviously . I wont be going to this Dr anymore Because of his rude staff . I was planning to cancel my appt. thank goodness I didnt have to call to speak with them . but i am glad he stands by his incompetent employees.

Dr. Fowler is an amazingly talented yet up front and honest doctor. I had first seen him for a knee problem in which he took the time needed and throughly explained what I should expect pre op as well as post op realistic post op expectations. I would and have recommended going to him to countless friends and family.

I don’t know who that person saw, but it wasn’t Dr David Fowler. I fell in love with him my first visit. I was a bit nervous at first, thinking this practice specializes in sports injuries. I was wrong. Dr Fowler was so kind and genuinely caring. He gave me all the time I needed; unlike some other doctors . I definitely would and have referred him to others. I have a doctor for every part of my body. I am so happy and thankful to have Dr Fowler as part of my entourage.??

I would not recommend Dr Fowler to my worst enemy. My worst enemy might actually BE Dr. Fowler at this point. What a truly unpleasant individual. He did not respect me time, my intelligence, or my health. He was rude, and unnecessarily hurtful and insulting. No compassion, no interest in me as a patient or a person. Just a terrible experience in every way.

Dr. Fowler performed two hip replacements within a year for my 86 year old mother and she is doing beautifully. The length discrepancy of her legs is only 2mm, which for an orthopedic surgeon to be able to do speaks well of his level of skill. He has a charming bedside personality and is reassuring to his patients. We strongly recommend him as well as UPMC East.

Dr. Fowler is great. However, after several experiences with the person who returns his calls, I am angry. This person will not let me talk, does not give me straight answers to my questions, and talks At me. Aggravated!
