Dr. David Furman Jr, DO

As like many other patients reviews. On my initial review, Dr. Furman did a complete examination, went over al my medication and made referrals to Specialists that is needed to be seen. In addition, the referrals were in distant calendar days away but rather quickly scheduled. The ladies at the front were polite and courteous, as well as his nurse, unlike some doctors offices. I do not regret switching my Primary Care to Lutheran Health away from Parkview. I should have done it sooner.

Dr. Furman is one of the most compassionate physicians I have ever seen. I’m 62 years old and recently received information about digestive issues. I was completely satisfied with his through manner. Dr. Furman was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this physician to friends and family. Thank you, Dr. Furman.

Dr. Furman is patient, kind, and understanding. I had some concerns and he explained all of my options concisely and in a way that made me feel comfortable with the next steps in my treatment. I truly appreciate doctors like Dr. Furman and all that they do for their patients.

I have seen Dr. Furman on numerous occasions and each time walked out feeling he truly cared about my heath. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable in anyway. I have recommended Dr. Furman to several of my friends and family members!

My initial visit with Dr. Furman was nearly an hour in length. He was pleasant and concerned asking many questions and listened to my responses. I can honestly say I’ve never had a health professional spend as much time getting to know me as Dr Furman did. Together we made a plan with appropriate follow up. The medical assistants were professional and kind. The front desk staff, efficient. I have no reservations about recommending Dr Furman.

My first appointment with him was also my last. Discussed doing 3 different things. I told him 1 of them I wouldn’t do. 3 of them, some tests, I had to check with insurance company first to see what they would cost. Only 1 of them I agreed to was for a prescription. 2 days later I get call from a lab wanting to make appointment for test I hadn’t agreed to. Next day I get a cologuard test kit delivered which I also hadn’t agreed to. Thankfully I found out my insurance doesn’t cover it before I would’ve gotten billed the $650 it costs. 3rd was for tests I didn’t agree to that needed blood samples taken. Papers I was given after appointment said sample was taken in office when it wasn’t. Papers said my insurance type was Medicaid. I buy my own insurance and did give receptionist that info when I arrived. After finished with doctor, I sat in exam room almost 5 minutes before I was given those papers. That much incompetence from a doctor and their staff is ridiculous.
