Dr. David Garelick, MD

He let me talk but did not listen except in a superficial way during initial office visit in 2016. He was the surgeion who did my second total knee joint replacement. I did not stress my age, or othr cautionary conditions such as obesity during office visits prior to surgery. And there was no discussion of which, if any, anti-clotting prophylaxis he would order post surgery. My desired outcome from the knee surgery was only partially realized – no more pain and no dimple in my knee. Today I still use a mobility aid to walk.

I injured my shoulder playing hockey earlier this year. Dr. Garelick was awesome! He was confident that an injection would do the trick and that PT would not help. His diagnosis was spot on. It’s been 10 days and I’m back playing hockey, the pain is gone, and no more pain at night. Thanks Dr. G!!

Dr Garelick and his staff are really responsive and effective. He helped me enormously with a tenacious shoulder problem. Everyone at IBJI at the California Avenue office is excellent. I have also had my hip replaced by Dr Ackerman at this practice. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone there.

Surgeries I have had by doc...left bicep reattachment, trigger finger release, both shoulders orthopedic surgery and two knee fractures. I have also seen doc for various injuries. I have had both a kidney and pancreas transplant and have been on dialysis four times a week for the past six years and never had a complication after any of my surgeries. Doctor Garlick is the best!

I have met with Dr. Garelick numerous times for my numerous injuries (ankle, knee, shoulder, other ankle, not in that order). I recommend him to anyone who needs help. He is fantastic. I would give him 10 stars if I could.
