top-notch neurologist; caring; thorough
I've known Dr. Ginsburg for over thirty years. He first treated me for upper extremity weakness and found electrical evidence of weakness. He sent me for a Cervical spine MRI which showed a lesion on my cord. I had a very successful two-level surgery in 2006 performed by Derek Duke MD, neurosurgeon, who I've continued seeing since. He too is exceptional. Dr. Ginsburg has worked me up for spinal symptoms over the years and always treated me compsassionately. I have great trust in his knowledge and competence. He has taught at two local medical schools because he is so well-respected. He won't take financial advantage of you as a patient as some doctors do,I've learned. If you are looking for an exceptional neurologist, you should consider seeing Dr. Ginsburg.

I Have Have been going to Neurologists since 2009 for Hydrocephalus, Chronic Migraine Head Aches, Sleeping problems, Memory Problems and a few other things. I have been on a couple of Medications from the past 3 Neurologist for years that you do not stop without a slow drop off by lowering dosage up to a few months and this is suggested to be the Normal and safe way to do this By all The Dr's I have consulted Including My Primary Dr.. I have seen Dr David Ginsburg 1 time and would not refill the 2 Medications that I have been Taking for years that actually work and that you are not to suddenly stop suddenly and now have given me all kinds of severe withdraw symtoms increased Severity of Head Aches, Sleeplessness, Dizzy, Sweating, Depression, anxiety/Panic attacks, Pounding Heart with Chest Pain Etc. I do not wan't to go to the hospital because of the Covid-19 Issue that is in full onset at this time. Talked with my Primary He said It will take up to a month for referral for another

Used to be a patient when he was in 7 hills; he's still the same disinterested guy from years ago. You have to tell him what meds you need otherwise he's clueless. His staff is incompetent and they don't seem to want to work. Simple fax in advance would have made it clear that I needed to see someone else. Instead he took the appt after making it clear he couldn't do what I needed and did a half-effort head-to-toe eval before I left. Of course he'll bill my insurance-for nothing done.

Dr. Ginsburg listened to my history and attempts to manage my Myesthenia Gravis. He explained alternative treatments and worked with me to find a treatment protocol that has worked. He spends an appropriate amount of time testing and asking questions and anwering mine when I see him.

Takes his time answering ALL your questions. Doesn't rush his patients & has an amazing bedside manor. Kind and courteous, he is an excellent physician and human being. His office staff, particularly Lavenia, his assistant, is a joy to speak with & extremely empathetic. She is efficient and handles any issues you have as quickly as possible. Dr. Ginsburg and his staff are a rare find in the medical field. -LNC

Dr. Ginsburg takes the time to explain to his patients so they understand their circumstances. We spent half an hour in the exam room! Truly an amazing physician who really loves what he does.
