I have seen Dr. Goldfarb over the past several months and ended up having FESS (guided endoscopic sinus surgery). He is an excellent doctor in every way and a fantastic surgeon. I had significant problems and he took care of them. During and after surgery, I was never in any pain and only had slight discomfort and one night without sleep, as is to be expected right after surgery.

Dr. Goldfarb did a fantastic job on my sinus surgery. I had sleep apnea which caused many a poor night's sleep and grew tired of the CPAP device which helped but was not a good long term solution. After the surgery, I experienced no pain. The following day after having my internal gauze-like material removed, I immediately discovered what it was like to breathe normally through my nose. The surgery was a life changing event. I sleep through the night and am rested every morning. Life is good!

He seemed competent as was his audiologist and the appropriate tests were conducted and ordered. However, he did not impress me as a good listener. Further, I had prepared in advance a written description of my history and symptoms. He skimmed it perfunctorily. One of my key problems was a chronic feeling of pressure in one of my ears. Only after I had obtained my patient records did I learn he'd diagnosed an S-deviated septum which could result in that symptom. He'd never mentioned it to me.
