Don't bet your life on this doctor
Gynecologist referred me to Dr. Herec for low iron, under active thyroid, and mystery pelvic pain. Dr. Herec disagreed with the low iron diagnosis, treated me for hypothyroidism. I asked for a referral to explore the rear and pelvic pain. He said to wait. I waited. Returned. Some symptoms were alleviated by the thyroid replacement hormone, but the pelvic and rear pain remained and was getting worse. Was denied a referral. Finally 6 months later I get referral & cancer diagnosis. Dr. Herec delayed my diagnosis by 9 months. And when the hospital reported the cancer findings to him, his offered nothing. Run from this practice. Dr. Herec obviously prioritizes who he will provide quality care and who he'll let grow cancer in their body for months.

Great explanation of my condition and what is the proper treatment going forward. The time spent was not rushed with an eye on the clock and allowed for constructive dialogue. We left his office with great satisfaction and our anxiety’s eased
