I only wish all Dr's. Were more like Dr. HOUSER . He is very caring and so easy to talk to. With his wisdom I know I'm in good hands. He is professional but a warm person. He talks to you in language that a patient can understand, and explains all very well. I am very impressed with Dr. Houser!

Great doctor! Very helpful!
When i started seeing Dr. Houser it was because of kidney stones. I had had them a few times before I started seeing him. He told me what they were made of and the possibility was calcified vitamin C. I stopped taking it and haven’t had any issues in years. I’m so thankful!

Good Experience
The nurse was my first contact and she was amazing and made me calm down and feel better. The doctor sat down and clearly explained why we were there. He said what we needed to do next and answered all questions. We didn't feel rushed or that he was not interested. He was dedicated to us in the room like we were the only ones there.

Great Physician in every way
I had a great 1st experience at this office! Mary at the front desk was very kind and quick at check in. Kelsey was so professional and kind getting me roomed and ready for the Dr. Then Dr. Houser was thorough, knowledgeable and a good listener. I appreciate his visual learning style of teaching me about the workings of my kidneys and explaining my test results, rather than just saying, 'Everything looks good. ' I left my appointment encouraged and with good ideas how to live an even more healthy lifestyle for my renal health. I'm thankful my Primary Care office recommended Dr. Houser.

Find another doctor......run......run far
Very unimpressed. I was referred to Dr, Houser because my labs indicated that I was Stage 3b CKD. First appointment.....he was more interested in his personal conversation in the hall with his nurse and to tell me that my problem was that I am overweight. Next visit was much of the same. My weight was the issue, there was nothing wrong with me.... but my primary care continues to tell me that I need to go back (so which is it? There is nothing wrong or he just doesn't care). I asked once about pain and he tells me that kidneys do not hurt and I needed to be seen for back pain. This was not back pain. This was around my ribs and more of a constant & dull pain but he refers me out for an X-ray on my back that shows nothing. Every single appointment was in and out and less than 10 minutes and I felt like I was bothering him. If you want to pay someone to insult you, this is your guy. Aside from that, please find someone else.

Did his best to belittle and shame me
He became very impatient with the questions I had and deliberately twisted what I was saying so as to try to make me feel foolish. No thank you
