Dr. David Hurley I, MD

I grew up in Whitley county and sadly have had to deal with him alot. He is a awful doctor who should have been fired years ago. He's rude and mean. Misdiagnoses alot, sent me home when I was sepsis, a different doctor seen me the same day and I had to be rushed to emergency surgery. Nearly died. He is not a good doctor, not even a okay doctor. He's a horrid human.

Hurley has been around forever. Any time someone goes to the ER in Whitley County, people always cringe and ask if you had Hurley because he’s so well known for his awful bedside manner and poor care especially if you’re a female. Hurley is very pompous and arrogant. He will routinely ask you a question and then talk over you when you try to answer. He also CANNOT STAND when you come in with orders or documentation from another doctor. He almost always finds a way to not do the requested testing or to throw out the results from the other doctor. He also is so blinded by his own arrogance that he often overlooks small things. If you can wait and go to a different hospital, do it unless you like being treated like you’re worthless and an idiot.
