Dr. David Ijac, MD

Terrible..I met him for the first time and was not impressed..How can a doctor prescribe a heart medicine for someone who has Obno heart issues. I would leave that up to a cardiologist..He wanted to prevent something happening to me? I did not agree with him.. He acted like a know it all and made it clear what he wanted to do...I was amazed at the way he spoke to me and did not like it at all....The staff was rude and did not seem to care.

We were patients of Dr. Ijac for years but since he sold his practice to Conviva, things changed and not for the better. Both my husband and I had wellness appointments that were made months in advance and each cancelled the day before. My husband was told he would have to wait another month before there would be an available opening. I inquired why I was cancelled and was told too many scheduled patients … but I was the very first person on that schedule 4 months ago.

Annual physical is not good enough. Dr. says you have to be there twice a year or he will no longer call in prescriptions.

I had a virtual appointment with Dr. Ijac recently and found him to be, as always, thorough and reliable. He is very considerate and sincerely interested in his patents' welfare. I am also extremely impressed with his office staff. In particular, Ida, Janay, and Mimi are so thoughtful and helpful. They never rush me and always get back to me promptly. It's very comforting to be able to relate with these kinds of health professionals. It has been particularly important to me during this stressful covid time. I have been a patient for more than a decade and am very glad to be so!

Dr Ijac gave me a very thorough examination. The computers were down due to the hurricane and he went back to the old fashioned way of writing everything down. He listens to what you have to say and spends time with you. He shows concern with your problems. I found he doesn't rush in and out. His office staff is a reflection of him. They are friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend him.

Have gone to Dr Ijac for four years. When he no longer accepted my insurance, the office staff just said you have to be a self pay! I was getting ready to have major surgery. Dr Ijac was there and didn't say a word. The office is not caring and the drs are awful. Find better.

Dr. Ijac does not really k ow you or care even after many years of being his patient.

Dr. Ijac doesn't seem to care about his patients. I was in the office with an important matter to discuss with him and he could not be bothered to take 1-2 mins to talk to me. Also, the staff are rude and do not communicate with each other well. I had a whole bunch of problems with this place, and I will not go in to detail, but if you want a caring doctor with competent staff, this isn't the place to go.
