Met The Surgeon
I met the surgeon to discuss surgical options, and it went quickly. I wasn't overly impressed even though he was quite knowledgeable. His listening skills needs improvement. I'm grateful that he apologized for his tardiness, and a sense of humor. He went straight into what will be repaired during surgery. All in all, I'm neutral. Maybe my review would have been different if his schedule wasn't overbooked.

Surgery and Follow Up Visit
Dr. Jackson did an amazing job on my back. I had a laminectomy of L4 & L5 which was an incredible success. Prior to surgery I was having constant radiating pain from my lower back down my legs and through the bottom of my feet. My feet were going numb as well. Post surgery, the pain is gone and no more numbness. I am so happy I had such a wonderful surgeon who made me feel comfortable and secure about having the surgery.

I would highly recommend Dr. Jackson and staff.
Dr. David Jackson was very welcoming and took time to answer all of my questions and concerns relating to my low back pain. After he explained his assessment of my condition, I once again was made to feel welcomed in the process of determining which course of action to pursue.

Poor dx skills, had not reviewed the record.
3 other spine specialist told me the same dx He said opposite. He did not have time to read the record. He was cold. He was not prepared for the appointment. He wanted to just check the box and collect his paycheck.
