Dr. Johnson okay, RCMC staff is not
Dr.Johnson himself was ok - not the best, not the worst dr. I've seen. I wasn't looking for treatment, just a check-up & renewal of ongoing prescription, but he didn't provide any helpful knowledge or suggestions for what we did discuss (then was charged a level 4 office visit, similar discussion at my annual exams in a different state were not charged this way). My biggest problem was much of the staff at RAPID CITY MEDICAL CENTER - POOR & DISHONEST COMMUNCIATION about appointments and procedures. I was told my visit woudl be to "meet" the doctor but was charged a level 4 office visit & had to schedule again for bloodwork & preventive exam. Office staff assured me all the bloodtests ordered were preventive & I should not have a surprise charge, but was charged. Billing department pretends to be kind, but does not listen or attempt to resolve issues.
