Dr. David Kieras, MD

This is my second knee replacement. I did not see Dr. Kieras post-op on the first one and I wish I had! He gave me excellent information and directions I did not get before.

Dr Kieras gave me the clearest explanation of the status of my left knee that I have lived with for 52 years, showed ne the x-rays that educated me as to deterioration in that knee and that it is what I refer to as being knocked kneed due to the trying to protect it from pain over the years (first time I had ever heard this) and to be careful with it going forward. Also, that the right knee that I damaged recently that led to the appointment was stretched ligaments and to be careful with them and should be ok in 2 months.....If not let him know. I am ecstatic that I got to Dr Kieras and he educated me on what Is going on with my knees!!!

This was my first time to meet Dr Kieras. I was impressed with his clear explanation of what my options were, and offering his opinion when asked. He was pleasant yet efficient.

Dr. Kieras is a very good surgeon. Always explains everything thoroughly. This is the fourth surgery he has performed for me and I am very happy with the outcome of each.

Dr Kieras let me know that walking wasn't enough and recommended I add biking/cycling swimming or row machine for my overall health. I appreciated that additional information.

I was very impressed with this Dr and would definitely return if the need arises.

He would ask me a question and I could barely answer it before he would cut me off. I have never felt so horrible leaving an Dr appointment before and I will never see him again. The way he talked down to me and couldn't even listen to the answers to his questions he asked is why I left the office in tears.

According to Dr. Kieras I am healing well. I have keloids over the incision and he suggested ways to minimize them and gave me a time frame for that. The time frame was helpful in that I know not to expect a huge difference within a month or two.
