Do not see him
My daughter has a history of pain and a positive ANA. He came in and said right away that that test meant nothing. I pointed out things I knew it could indicate and he responded with 'Do you know what an antibody is? You probably never even heard of it before.' Then mansplained antibodies to us for half and hour. I have never met a more patronizing doctor than this one.

Lupus? Go somewhere else. He will not listen
I was referred to Dr. Kung because of irregular lab work and a soft lupus diagnosis from my PCP. I’ve had genetic testing done showing autoimmune issues but wanted to see a specialist. Dr. Kung did not review any of my labs/medical records (5yrs of docs) and I had to pull it up on my phone. He didn’t believe me and basically accused me of walking in off the street just to waste his time. I felt so disrespected and disoriented, and I was just in shock of how blatantly rude and arrogant he was. He decided before even seeing me that I was making it all up. I fought him initially, showing him where my labs were abnormal and explaining what doctors I’d seen and what they said. He talked to me like I was a child and I just gave up because I was on the verge of tears. He then recommended I go see a sleep doctor (??) for my autoimmune disorder. Since then I’ve had other (better, kinder) doctors confirm the diagnosis. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had. Do not waste your time.

Horrible Experience as a newly referred patient
Wish this could be 0 stars. I was a new patient to Dr. Kung and it was clear he decided I could not possibly have an auto immune condition before I even arrived. He was rude, inconsiderate, and made me feel so ashamed of myself that I had to leave before having a panic attack. He literally showed me the ONE medical record of mine he reviewed that led him to his decision. After I told him I had nearly 2 years of medical records sent to him. He didn't even listen to my symptoms with out interrupting and arguing with me about them. I was referred because I have been sick for nearly a year and my ANA came back positive. I have family members with Lupus so I know that is an indicator. The appointment started fine but a soon as we got to my symptoms, it went horribly bad. As I listed the very first symptom, he interrupted me to tell me how its not autoimmune and but it could be this and I need to see such and such specialist for it. Ok I thought? That was weird but I kept going hoping it w
