Dr. David Kutler, MD

I have been seeing Dr Kutler for almost 5 years after him preforming surgery on me. He is attentive and caring. He is always on time and gives me his full attention always. I trust him very much.

Dr Kutler was able to schedule my neck surgery within 4 days of our first visit. He also called me the night before to surgery in case I had questions. The surgery was successful without any post operative problems; and his direct and his team’s aftercare visits were regular and thorough. He is an extraordinary physician.

I went to see him because I had a lump in my throat, and he requested and MRI, it came positive. I chose him to be my ent surgeon and I m glad I did. He is very human and very professional.

Back in October of this year I went to my dermatologist for a routine full body check. He performed a biopsy on suspicious spots on my eyelid and forehead near my eye. The eyelid came back Basel cell carcinoma and the forehead melanoma. I’ve had Basel cells in the past but the melanoma diagnosis scared me. I was referred to Dr. Kutler who I was immediately impressed with. His manner is calm but he acted quickly to get me booked for surgery. PET CAT scans performed. I had surgery on November 11th which included sentinel biopsy on lymph nodes. One of five came back with less than 1mm of melanoma. Dr. Kutler referred me to Dr. Ana Pavlick, medical oncologist who immediately eased my anxiety. I’m on an every three month watch & wait protocol with images for two years. Dr. Kutler also referred me to Dr. Jason Spector, Chief of Plastic Surgery , to close the significant wound on my face. He, like the entire team at NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell, is world class. Dr. Kutler lead the charge!!

Dr. Kutler was a calm presence and thorough in my follow-up visit. He asked the right questions and listened patiently to my responses. And most of all I trust his expertise in his field.

As a first time patient, with Dr. Kutler performing my surgery next week, I was beyond impressed with how very thorough and reassuring he was. And he is possessed of a wonderful sense of humor. I am lucky to be in such trusted hands.

Since my imaging was done ahead of time. Dr. Kutler discussed to me the results and planned. He addressed my concerns. I don’t feel being rushed!

I arrived at my appointment 45 minutes early. I thought I'd have to wait a long time because, I'm so early. Nope! Almost immediately I'm called into an examination room. Here, I had to wait for a bit but not to bad, I do the one that arrived early. Then Dr. Kutler comes in we chat, we laugh, it's great. He finishes the the exam, I make an appointment for my next visits, and as I leave the building I check the time: I'm leaving even before my appointment would have began. THIS. They know your time is precious and they respect it. If they respect your time, they respect you. Great office. I've been coming here almost 5 years. Will continue coming, even if I move far away.
