Saved my eyesight
I had a very good chance of going blind if I didn't quit smoking. Although I had tried many, many times to quit, I couldn't kick the habit..until I saw Dr Larned. In the nicest way possible, he reminded me if I lost my eyesight, I would never be able to be the person I want to be again. My life would be totally limited. This is all very obvious, but the way Dr Larned approached it finally made it 'click'. That evening I threw out my pack of cigarettes and have been smoke free since. That was almost 4 years ago, and I still have my vision!

I can't believe he is still practicing. Our family used his office 20 years ago in Wilmington DE and he delegated every single part of the eye exam to his office staff. the result was 3 out of 4 of us received completely incorrect vision correction numbers. Screwed us up for a year before we finally began putting the pieces together. He just signs off and does absolutely nothing to care for patients. Yep that office worker is really qualified to read your eye prescription

I found this office to be an exception to the usual treatment. They were friendly and I was treated not as an inconvenience to a busy schedule, but a patient with a concern and problem. Everyone was polite and Dr. Larned was a good listener, and communicator. He performed the procedure with care and I came away with the feeling, even though it was minor procedure, it was important to both of us. I will return with a level of trust, respect and comfort.
