Dr. Lessen displays superior skills and interpersonal focus; Dr. Lessen successfully treated my father for ~2+ years for mantle cell lymphoma. Dr. Lessen and his staff demonstrated deeply personal and professional care for my father--and mother during this time. Dr. Lessen even called several [!] times after my father was receiving hospice care at home--and after his passing. Dr. Lessen is not only a sharp, brilliant and successful Oncologist--he's also incredibly thoughtful and attentive to personal detail. Dr Lessen is the only physician who took the time to explain to me, via telephone ... long distance... the reality of my dads illness. Qualified of course but my family received a lot more from this man.

After being discharged from the hospital I went to see Dr. lessen regarding treatment He was the only one who really took the time to listen to my symptoms. And take action. without him I would of probably ended up back in the hospital . He has been extraordinary has run every lab needed and has gone above and beyond ! My dad has had stage 4 esophageal cancer for 3 years. Dr. Lessen has kept him alive for longer than we all expected. He treats each patient with caring and respect, and strategizes treatment carefully, taking the patient's input seriously. He is relentless in trying different treatments and combinations, and takes numerous tests and scans to track what's working and what isn't. My dad has 100% faith in Dr. Lessen, which is extremely important in his survival.
