Love Dr. Lessman!
I would definitely recommend Dr. Lessman to any patient. He always sees me right away, he's very professional, knowledgeable, and listens. I really feel grateful to have him as my doctor.

Poor quality care
I have been a patient for a few years now and I became very turned off by the lack of care for the last 3 years. His assistant would never call back to get an appointment. The last time I had my annual I felt very passed over. Seemed like he only cared about was pushing the agenda for the Covid shot!

Unavailable and Expensive
Recently I had a pressing medical condition that needed addressing but after many calls and emails I heard nothing from Lessman or his secretary. I've been a patient of Lessman for five years and thought he was thorough and caring, but that has all changed. Also, his secretary, Jo, is aloof and rude. Upon my last normal annual physical they charged me $1500 outright. I asked why I was not informed of this policy change before the exam and Jo dismissed me saying it was what the doctor is now charging and there's nothing I can do about it. So, between the no response and the ridiculous overcharging - I will not be returning to this practice.

Dr Unavailable
When I’ve visited Dr Lessman, I’ve felt comfortable with his attentiveness and advice. I’ve found ,however, that getting the appointment is not easy and follow up close to impossible. That he’s not taking new patients suggests that he may have problems handling old patients.

I had the same experience as the previous reviewer. Was referred to Dr. Lessman after my PCP stopped accepting insurance and I had a severe case of strep. Not only did it take several days to get lab results in, but he prescribed me the wrong antibiotic. When the strep came back two months later, he was unavailable and his assistant assured me she "wouldn't leave me hanging" and would have him call me back. Never happened. Finally found an ENT who was responsive and ACCURATELY treated my strep

I was seen by Dr. Lessman only because my PCP was unavailable at the time when I wasn't feeling well. I called him the following Friday to discuss lab work and other issues- his assistant assured he would call back, but he didn't. I called again Monday and left a message- still heard nothing. Today, Tuesday, his assistant called to say, "The doctor said he spoke to you two weeks ago and doesn't know WHY you keep calling since nothing had changed..." I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone.
