Dr. David Levin, MD

The office was closed, locked and dark when I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment. An hour earlier, I received a confirmation of the appointment time. The office did not call or text me to cancel the appointment. What gives?

Worst doctor ever, and his staff was rude and belligerent.

Loved Dr. Levin, not so much his office manager, billing process, and communication style of his office manager (Brian) because it was non-existent. I tried to contact Brian numerous times via voicemails, patient portal and finally a letter in the mail. Dr. Levin did a great job and I am breathing much better and snoring has lessened immensely. His office manager ruined my experience.

Four visits, six prescriptions for antibiotics, antivirals, antimicrobials, and an opioid, two in-office no-contrast scans, four binocular microscopy events and a nasal endoscopy were billed w/o discussion or consent. Missed diagnosis of an aggressive sarcoma, potentially lethal. Dr. Levin was unprofessional, erratic, and exhibited bizarre behavior, lack of proper hygiene techniques. The practice has a defensive and argumentative office manager, and hapless staff. No Covid masking, and Dr. Levin neither washed his hands nor wore gloves during exams, and threw soiled sponges across the room. A recent practice web site update removed prior negative comments.

I made an appointment to have a sinus balloon procedure performed. I should have backed out after the initial office visits prior to the procedure. The office staff was completely dysfunctional and inept. The doctor is totally bizarre. I was the first patient the day of the procedure. I went through the painful preparation. Lidocaine swabs 6 inches up the sinuses and multiple shots. Then I was informed by the doctor that the scope was not available. The scope was not available???? Why didn't they know this earlier? Then he had the nerve to suggest I reschedule. I do not understand why He is still practicing. You have been warned.

I’m not sure what to think of Dr. Levin. First appointment was to see him and they gave me someone else but I insisted that I see Dr. Levin. He was like being at a comedy club, never have I been seen a doctor who acted like he did. Sent me for Xrays and then my follow up appointment they again gave me of his associates who said they work as a team however my appointment was supposed to be with Dr, Levin. Neither diagnosed my issue or suggested any treatment. Said I should follow up I’m a month “for what”. Not gong back!

Amazing!!! Dr. Levin performed a ballon sinuplasty and I have no more of the horrible sinus pressure and pain I had before! He was very caring, attentive and sincere!

Dr. Levin is an amazing ENT doctor and SLO is lucky to have him! He removed an infected and abscessed cyst from my neck. I experienced zero pain after my surgery! My incision is beautiful. Dr. Levin is a masterful surgeon and I’m beyond grateful that I was referred to him! Thank you so much Dr. Levin!!

I am guessing it is hit and miss with this doctor. After two visits, I never met the doctor. Rather, I was interviewed by the nurse who complained about staff members calling in sick. My attempt was to transfer my service to a new doctor whose commercials would suggest someone who cares. That would not be my experience as I never saw the doctor.

The most grossly unprofessional and rude doctor I have ever met. I do not know who would allow him to operate on them. He acts like a cartoon character.

I absolutely loved Dr. Levin. His staff was amazing the ladies at the front desk were friendly and professional. So refreshing, most of the time we go to the doctors, the staff doesn't even look up at you. Dr. Levin was very caring and took the time to explain everything. Thank You, K. Silva

I am so happy I found Dr. Levin. I was suffering from a persistent sinus infection that would never go away despite the antibiotics and sprays my other ENT prescribed me. I was quite miserable and decided to make a switch, called Dr. Levin's office and they got me in the next day. Dr. Levin discovered a fungal infection the other ENT had missed, and recommended surgery, which happened quickly and went very well. He called me several times at home in the following days to see how I was doing

OMG !! Dr Levin and his staff are so nice, helpful and caring !! I hate Drs but they made my day even though I thought I was dying !! I am being totally honest ! I LOVE THIS PLACE !!

I am so glad doctor Levin is back to continue my care. His new office and michelle are amazing.

Dr. Levin is the best ENT I have ever seen. He diagnosed an ear problem that no other Doctor could figure out for 40 years. He's GREAT! Not only a great Docor, but, caring, and takes all the time in the world during your visit.

Dr. Levin is a breath of fresh air! After my awful experiences with ENT’s at Kaiser, it’s so refreshing to have a specialist that truly cares, listens and wants to actually SOLVE the problem.

Never have I experienced a more ridiculous office visit! Never examined me just sent me for a sinus scan! Then charges me twice for a nasal endoscopy! I refused to pay it! I switched doctors and still can't breathe lying down and still have debilitating sinus pain! I've given up of finding a decent ENT!
