He is one of the first doctors that remembers what you came in the last time for, and asks about it. He makes you feel comfortable to talk to him, and you have his full attention. I think he’s great

Doctor, recommended...
I recommend Dr Meyer as someone who does more than just health screenings. He takes a genuine interest in patients and doesn't small talk. I mentioned I collect Root Beer and a year later at our next appointment he knew of a root beer that just came out and the place that sold it. Amazing.

Not the most empathetic bloke on the block
Not easy to talk to and is not big on compassion or empathy. He's arrogant and rather unpleasant to deal with, and likes to give information, but is not receptive to patient input. Overall, quite a contrast to Dr. App, whom I loved, or this practice's PAs, who are wonderful. I do not recommend him as a source of routine medical care.

He is a great doctor and it was a bad choice to let him go. I no longer go to you because of it.

Dr. Meyer is a splendid physician. I'm so sorry to learn that he is not longer in practice at Mercy downtown!

I refer everyone to him -- after being very sick for a very long time and not having any answers I have had more than a few doctors who just didn't seem to trust me/believe what I was saying. I have since been diagnosed with an autoimmune and feel 1000x better with my treatment but it made knowing a doctor trusted me and was listening to me that much more valuable to me. He listens, and while he does seem a little shy at first, he has very professional bedside manners and vast knowledge.

David is knowledgeable and has an honest approach with his patience. Some of the negative feedback is likely people mad at him for things out of his control. Also the ladies at the desk are amazing.

I would not recommend Dr. Meyer. He is very unsympathetic to his patients and rather than addressing your concerns he tries to convince you that they aren't real.

My experience with him has been very bad. I feel like he dose not treat my medical concerns serious. He shows no compassion or interests in my concerns. He ignores the things I tell him. He dose not remember me from visit to vist. He has not continued to look into my bone and muscle pain. He just put it to the side over a year ago and I feel like he dose not work for me as my doctor. I feel like all he wants is to get me in and out of the office to collect my money and theirs no concern for me
