There is no supporting "team" in Dr Murphy's office. I went in with a simple problem, and two weeks later I have a UTI that is not responding to antibiotics. All could have been prevented if nurses had simply made given instructions. After repeated calls, the ball was dropped every time. They, however insist the patient is their priority. I call bulls#$t. VA Urology seems to be the only choice for urology practice, and on previous occasions, they have served me well. Not going back to dr murphy.

I have been seeing Dr. Murphy over the last few years for Bladder Cancer & Prostate issues. I am happy with the treatment (not really, I don't enjoy it and would have preferred to miss it entirely), It seems to me, Dr. Murphy has always been straight forward with me answers our questions and does his best to make us comfortable. Also, the nursing and technical staff has been very good trying to keep me comfortable.

I first saw Dr. Murphy after a serious kidney stone issue which required hospitalization and follow up treatments. He was thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions in a reassuring manner. I appreciate his candor and caring demeanor and feel fortunate to have him as my physician.

Dr. David Murphy has been my Urologist for over 13 years. I suffer from kidney stones and have had multiple procedures and a surgery to remove kidney stones. Dr Murphy always takes time to talk about my issues and my options to be pain free. He speaks to me as a doctor should address a patient. He is all business and that is what I expect from a doctor who is taking care of me. He is a great doctor.

I have had Dr. Murphy for over 9 years now. He has always been very compassionate and understanding. I cannot speak for these other reviews but he has never been anything but kind and considerate to my problems with Institial Cystitis and bladder issues.. I will continue to see him as my Urologist for my bladder issues..

I'm only giving a star because I had to. Dr. Murphy's bedside manner is terrible and he has absolutely 0 compassion for patients. I wouldn't recommend anyone to him!

This guy should work in a laboratory away from people. No compassion doesn't introduce himself ask question or answer any. He thinks he is a GOD and his patient isn't worthy... probably a smart guy but he has no personality or investigative skills. I am sad too because all the other doctors are great friendly and listen. Oh well on to the next urology center.

Doctor Murphy is more concerned about his reputation than his patients. Chronic pain and kidney disease with consistent stones forming daily. Doctor Murphy will only treat my wife and has never given us any advice on how to prevent them. He is more concerned about his reputation on prescribING pain meds than listening to his patients needs.
