Dr. O is a great doctor I am glad he is my doctor. You won’t go wrong choosing him

Dr Oberste performed a Rt Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty and Left Hip Total Anterior Arthroplasty on me and on both occasions I felt completely confident that I was in competent hands. In all the appointments I never felt rushed and he explained the procedures and what I could expect. He took time to answer every question and was always patient and kind.

Each step in the process was excellent. Information and education provided by surgeon and staff was very helpful. 2 weeks post-op, doing excellent.

To Dr. Oberste, on behalf of all veterans, you have failed us because you assumed what we wanted and not what we are there for, shame on you! You made sure not to see me today because you thought you knew why the VA sent me and you weren't even close, but you didn't even have the courage to find out. Again, shame on you. You truly are a REMF and I'm sure you're proud of yourself.

Dr. Oberste's background and experience were clearly evident in the way he handled all my questions and concerns when I first met him. I felt assured that I would be in capable hands. At the hospital, the care and attention I received were beyond my expectations, and I am grateful for his dedication to his patients. Post surgery, a breeze (especially for someone 87 years old). 2 weeks with a walker the 2 weeks with a cane. Driving in 4 weeks, and just enjoyed my 8th month check-up with Fr. Oberste. Definitely 5 stars. I would even go for a 6th star but he might blush.

Dr. Oberste always maintained eye contact and listened to my concerns. The surgery has been scheduled and I am confident of its success. His P.A. is excellent as well. Best team at TOC by far!!!

Each time I’ve been seen, by Dr. Oberste and -or Brian Darsey his PA, I’ve felt very cared for. Both are thorough and explain your condition so you understand what is going on. I felt they gave me the time I needed and didn’t rush. Will definitely continue to use them and also recommend them too Also his staff is great and very helpful

While I didn’t see Dr. Oberste, his PA, Brian Darcy, handled my initial visit very professionally and sent me for some tests. Next visit, to review test results, will be with Dr. Oberste I was told.

My initial experience was with his very efficient staff at TOC Tallahassee. Then the day of my surgery we met, and I enjoyed getting to know him as well as his confidence in my surgery. Special care was taken due to my pre-existing heart condition which I am very grateful for. Very professional and qualified staff. Love the cowboy boots touch:)

Never met Dr. Oberste. My last visit on September 11, 2024. I was supposed to meet him. so I can’t really give a bad rating or a good rating. I always met with Thomas and he made me feel old, too old.

Dr. Oberste is a compassionate, caring doctor. He listens to all your concerns. I starting going to him this year about my left hip which needs to be replaced. His staff equally has all these traits as well. When it comes time to have my hip replaced he most certainly will do my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Oberste.

I have been seeing Dr. Oberste since 2013. He has performed numerous shoulder and knee surgeries on me. He always treats me with kindness and tells me the truth even when he knows it isn’t what I want to hear. I will never go to another surgeon with the same specialty and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs shoulder, hip or knee care.

The fact that Dr. Oberste listened to how I was treated and dismissed at other orthopedic surgeons saying my issues where carpal tunnel syndrome. After a full work up and tests it was decided surgery was my only option. He explained in great detail the pros and cons, and also explained why I needed an RTSA to have any chance of a more normal lifestyle. Awesome bedside manner and he can even be funny at time.

Dr. Oberste’s bedside manner is exceptional as his professional skills.

Dr. Oberste took the time to explain what he saw on my films. No one else had provided me with the details he did. Should I require surgery, he’s the surgeon I will use.

As a retired professor of public health, I have a better ability to judge Dr. Oberste’s technical abilities than most. And I view his abilities as excellent. Dr. Oberste explained his rationales for the various scans I underwent, and his diagnoses and treatment options to my level of comprehension, and was not rushed in his explanations. An MD friend had recommended Dr. Oberste to me, and I am reminded that I should thank him.

No wait! Friendly staff! Dr. Oberste is extremely knowledgeable and has such a good bedside manner - I was very comfortable during my visit. He gave me quality time and answered all my questions. I am confident he will correct my knee problem. I highly recommend Dr. Oberste.
