I have been a patient of Dr. Popper before he had his practice. He generally runs a little late but, what doctor doesn't. My last appointment for my procedure ran late also...2 hours and another patient was lined up outside the procedure room to be next. I had an appointment with another doctor scheduled. I do not get anesthesia for my procedure so I didn't have to worry about recovering from it. To shorten this story some, I told the staff I couldn't wait any longer and dressed to leave. The nurse walked me down the corridor to the waiting room. I told her I knew the way out. She stopped me before I opened the door to the waiting room and told me Dr Popper stated if I left, I was no longer a patient of his. I was ticked! I'm the one that didn't eat for 1 1/2 days, had to drink that horrible liquid for naught. If anything, he should have thanked me for helping him get caught up a little. After going through all that prep, why, if I didn't need to, leave. I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!

Extremely rude office staff. I was yelled at by Nancy! I am always polite and understanding to a fault and have never had issues with office staff and any doctors' office until my encounter with Nancy. I would never recommend this facility until they have a staff change! Also, you can't reach anyone to make an appointment due to the automated phone service. I finally had to drive to the office to make an appointment in person.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Popper & have recommended him to family & to my sons girlfriend. I first met & worked with Dr. Popper at St. Mary Medical Center in the late 80's. I loved how he was & still to this day has the best bedside manner, always shakes your hand when he walks into a room, soft spoken & never makes you feel as he's in a rush to get out of the room. He has done both upper & lower scopes on me, I couldn't tell they were even done. I just can't say enough about him.
