Terrible Doctor
Worst experience with a doctor to date. Went in to ER after having chest pain, was finally taken to a room after 5 hours of waiting. I explained my symptoms and he stated he suspected acid reflux with esophagus spasms. I was given a shot of some antacid and blood was drawn for labs. Within 5 minutes of being given the shot, I felt worse and pain was worse. I paged nurse who said she would ask the doctor if he would give me something for pain. An hour later I paged again still in pain, nurse came back and said she had an NSAID to to give me for my pain of 7 out of 10…I asked to speak to Dr. Postelnek who proceeded to belittle me and basically accuse me of drug chasing (I’m Active Duty Military, not a druggy), I felt very disrespected and unheard. I will never use this ER again and if I happen to have a stomach ulcer as I suspect, NSAIDs are not the right decision! I left still in pain and no resolution to my issue except “seek follow up with you PCM”. Horrible!!

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Postelnek?
Our daughter arrived at the Emergency Room that Dr. Postelnek was working. She was 28 yrs old and he stopped a code in progress just a mile from the hospital. She had received no cardiac medications, to our ,he did not see her or attempt any heroic measures when she arrived at the hospital, just took her to the morgue. Obviously, this is not resolved. He is a liability and shame to his profession. Oath was to "do not harm" what a joke! Please do not let this provider see you or your loved one!
