Dr Ramirez rushes in, hears the basics and then starts talking. He doesn’t listen. He will ask you questions that you’ve already told him. He’s misdiagnosed things because he’s not focused on what’s directly in front of him. Also, the front office staff and the doctor are not wearing masks or requiring other patients to wear one during a pandemic. Even if they feel safe themselves, they should be thinking about their patients.

I moved into the area 2 years ago and had a great doctor in KCMO up by the airport. One visit Is all it took. From the disoriented front desk to the same when I met with Dr Ramirez. He kept asking me over and over things I had told him several times. It was like he wasn’t even listening to me. I went in with two issues and he never even addressed one of the issues so I just let it go. My wife was also seen in this office and we changed PCMs today as neither of us was happy at all with anything in this office.

Dr. Ramirez has been our family doc for the past ten years. He is friendly, patient and never makes you feel rushed. I would recommend him to any family moving to the area or just looking for a good family doc.

When I call the office, a real person answers the phone. I can get a routine office visit within a couple of days. For sickness or urgent need, I can get an appointment for the same or next day. When I call for some kind of information, office staff gets that for me usually within an hour if not sooner. Office older, but clean. Have been with Dr. Ramirez for over 30 years and he knows me very well. Takes any new problems seriously. Not an "all in you head" doctor in relating to women.
