Dr. David Scheiner, DO

The doctor himself was awesome. He prescribed me a medication that is hard to get. I ask to have the med transferred to a different pharmacy because there is a national shortage. I am informed that there is a $40 fee to transfer the medication. I already paid $60 for the visit and I do have insurance. I now can not get the medicine because I cant afford $40 more dollars being a single mom. So now I am out money and have no medication.

Dr. Schneiner is a great doctor, but the office is terrible. No matter how many times they tell you they will ask the doctor and let you know, they NEVER call back unless you call. They also take your money without making sure you get the service you paid for and do nothing about it. Don't go there.

I was so happy with this doctor at first. It seemed like I'd finally found a doctor who legitimately cared about patient welfare. It was a short honeymoon. This doctor took me off of several necessary medications and now I'm suffering for it. Refused to believe my C-19 experience in March 2020. Lied about submitting referrals. Lied about submitting bloodwork orders. Doctor also ejected me from his practice the day before my last appointment for literally no reason at all, nor was a reason given, nor was the letter I received even SIGNED. During that final appontment, he said nothing about me needing to find another doctor, or that it would be our last appointment. He acted like he was continuing to help me, including saying he was still submitting referrals and bloodwork orders that he had no intention of carrying through on. Find. Anyone. Else. (Except the Mandarin Clinic. They are, somehow, even worse.)

Always takes time with my daughter and me. Explains everything, is very knowledgeable and thorough. I am 46 years old and have been through so many doctors and I've never found one that has exceeded every single expectation until now.

When I called to schedule on appt. my first question was "Are you excepting new patients?" since my husband has never been seen by this doctor, but this doctor was listed on his new insurance as a primary. The woman said yes. Then she asked if I wanted to schedule an appt. for next week and asked if he had any symptoms. I said this would just be an initial visit/checkup and that he has high blood pressure to which she abruptly said oh no we aren't taking new patients with high blood pressure.

The care and personal touch I receive at Dr. Scheiner's is something I have never received before. I've going to Dr. Scheiner for 4 years now and never want to have a time where he's not my doctor.
