Dr. David Schmidt, DDS

I had a molar with a cracked root extracted last month by Dr. Schmidt. I've had my 4 wisdom teeth and another molar removed in the past and this was, by far, the most comfortable experience of them all. Dr. Schmidt was professional yet cordial, worked quickly and confidently, and skillfully extracted the tooth in the shortest amount of time and with the least pain of any previous dental extraction. He explained everything he was doing and everything I would experience and the socket has healed up nicely with no complications. His office is clean and pleasant, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the cost was quite reasonable. I drove 300 miles to get to his office due to longer waiting times at 2 offices that were closer and I'm very glad that I did. I would drive the 300 miles again to see Dr. Schmidt in preference of our best local oral surgeon.

On Feb. 6th I was referred to this Oral Surgeon. When I tried to make an appointment, the receptionist was very unfriendly and told me I cannot come in until March 28th for a consultation only. My tooth is too far broken off to have a cap. It has to come out. Now I am scarred to have it done. If the people are so unfriendly, what will the doctor be?

The doctor explained everything and told me what he was doing every step of the way. The staff is so caring.

I received a tooth extraction followed up by bone grafting and 2 implants #5 and #14. The sinus lift and 2 implants were done in the same appointment. I experienced virtually no pain with the extraction, bone grafting, or sinus lift. I did not even need any of the pain medication post surgery. In my experience getting a root canal was worse than this whole experience. I found the office very pleasant on all visits and my impression of Dr. Schmidt is that he is very talented in his craft. I hope to never need another Implant, however I would definitely seek out Dr. Schmidt's services again should the need arise.

This was my 2nd tooth extraction with Dr. Schmidt in the past 6 months. His staff is incredible, and easy to talk to. Dr. Schmidt himself tells you step by step what he is doing and it just brings you a little comfort when you're in the chair. Oral Surgery Associates are the professionals. They know what they're doing so trust the process and communicate any special needs.

Everything was well-explained. I had been dreading the process, but there was only a small amount of discomfort and the procedure itself was quick. I went in and before I knew it, it was over! I am really glad I got the implant!

I received an implant for a missing tooth. The oral surgery was quick, painful for about 8 hours, and then no problem. Follow up was quick.
