Exceptional Care from Dr. David Shenassa and His TeamI had a scapholunate ligament injury in my left wrist and struggled to find a doctor who believed surgery was worthwhile due to my age. Dr. Shenassa took my case seriously, assessing my true physical condition and offering the best solution.Thanks to his expertise, my October 31, 2024, surgery was a success. While recovery usually takes eight months, I was fully recovered in less than four. I had several painful and disabling conditions in my left hand, wrist, thumb and elbow, each of which caused disability and required a different surgery to correct. My left hand and arm had ultimately became useless and the pain had become unbearable. I needed surgery for the three severe conditions. Dr Shenassa advised that he could perform all three surgeries at the same time, removing the requirement for three separate trips to the OR, as he specialized in the hand and arm up to the elbow. The results and improvement are already amazing after only 4- 1-2 weeks post-op. Dr. Shenassa’s PA’s, Jesse and Sydnee are both excellent practitioners and handled much of my post-op care. The surgeries went well and the only pain I am now experiencing in that area is the welcome pain of healing. I am grateful to Dr. Shenassa and his team for their excellent care and the results thus far.

Have been using Dr Shenassa since 2009 the first time i broke my wrist. the second time I broke my wrist shortly after and it was healing very slowly and he sent me to my internist to have bloodwork down to check calcium levels and other blood work, to find I had HyperParathyroidism thus finding and my getting treating a condition that pulls calcium out of your bones , so was caught before it would have been picked up on routine drs visits. he looks at the big Picture not just the broken bone. over the 15 years I have been a patient of his office he has taken care several breaks and broken fingers ,carpal tunnel & an arthritic wrist issue that required surgery. he did't sugar coat it, told me it would take a decade of months to be working as i wanted it to and now my artistic hands are creating again. you will not find a more personable Dr, Caring, patience unbelievable .He is so knowledgable and stays on top of new treatments. His PA Sydney is the best, always there for you &listens!

Went for trigger finger and Jesse took great care of me and gave me corticosteroid injection which provided quick relief. Alway a pleasure to go the Weston office.

Cut my finger with a table saw down to the bone. Dr. Shenassa was very quick to schedule surgery. That went very well. Every appointment since has been great with very little waiting. He and his staff are fantastic.

As a Dentist myself, My hands are most important to me. I hurt my pinky finger which hindered my ability to practice dentistry. Dr Shenassa made time for a consult to see me, booked the surgery to repair my finger, performed the procedure and had be back drilling teeth in no time. His surgical skills as well as bedside manner are first class. His Surgical PA was extremly caring and knowledgable and guided me through the entire experience. I highly recommend Dr Shenassa and his team.

I had elbow and wrist surgery with Dr. Shenassa. Great experience. He is sharp, fun and caring. His office staff is sharp as well. I recommend him without hesitation.

Really good experience !I cut the top of my right thumb, 2023 december 23th, and Dr Shenassa operate (ampute about 1 inch). After the operation, he try to regrow the skin and the soft tissus. On febuary 19th, i was using my thumb again without bandages. He put a special powder, A-Matrix, and the skin grow back. I am really happy. At first, i was not a believer of the potential of recup my thumb flexibility but i will do physio and i will be back as near new !

My first appt was with Sydney, his PA. That went well. I discussed with her everything I had done to help my chronic elbow pain. Everything from PT; OMM; injections; acupuncture. A previous x-ray taken was completely clean; x-ray in there office was not clean. She said I needed an MRI, which she ordered and that's when everything went down hill. The MRI was denied because there were no off notes; office notes were sent WITHOUT any history of everything I had done to help my chronic pain. So it was denied again for lack of treatment for 6 weeks prior to ordering MRI; how about 2 years worth! I requested a peer to peer review hoping Sydney would be able to discuss my previous treatment done to get it approved. It's now been over 3 weeks since initial MRI order and nothing. No return calls from my many messages left on VM. I never did get an appt with Dr S, because there was no MRI to discuss. Scripts in FL are only good for 30 days. Now, I get to start all over!

Dr. Shenassa and his team are amazing! He did surgery on my wrist after I fell. He is very thorough and caring as is his team. His PA Jesse is fantastic too! The physical therapy team led by Jennifer were AMAZING! I actually look forward to therapy so I can see everyone and will miss them when I am done. If you need a hand doctor, Dr. Shenassa is the person to see!
