He's aggressive, he yelled at a staff in the next room, and then came back like things were normal. Unhinged behavior. I don't trust him to be level headed and decent because if he is okay with yelling at people, who knows what else he will do. Overall negative experience, do not recommend.

Dr. Sierpina was always professional and helpful. He called me back if I had additional questions. Cataract surgery was quick and painless. The time released antibiotics and use of anti inflammatory drops worked well with excellent results. Recovery was as expected with 20/20 vision in the operated eye.

Dr. Sierpina is our family hero! He is a good and caring, dedicated man - and a great representative of Loma Linda Eye Institute. Dr. S. is beyond doubt the finest physician (of any specialty) that I have ever met. My best impression of him is his patience in addressing every concern of mine, because, needless to say, surgery on my eyes was a very scary prospect. I'm 72, and in a lifetime of physicians, he is the only one that on every visit has never rushed off to his next appointment - i.e., he makes me feel relaxed as he clearly explains everything, including discussing not just the future surgery but also, after the surgeries, the results of my procedures, and is willing to take as much time as it takes - he doesn't leave until he, and I, are completely at ease. And needless to say, his cataract surgeries on my two eyes went exceedingly well. I am thrilled with the results (e.g., they were placed perfectly), as well as with the vision improvements I've found. I'm telling everyone (in my age bracket) how great the experience has been with Dr. S.

I was taken to the inner office right on time- after that there is a bit of a wait which is unavoidable due to the wait needed after eye gtts are instilled. Staff is very pleasant and helpful-Dr. Sierpina is most affable and professional without being stiff. The only problem I have is not just a problem with this medical facility but with all I have visited. I have a BIG problem being called by my first name by people I don't even know. In some cultures that is disrespectful and that also places the patient in a position that could be seen as that of a child. As elders in the community, we deserve the respect we have lived long enough to earn. I will continue to correct staff members when they address me by my first name.
