Dr. David Slamowitz, MD

I have visited this office several times over the course of nearly 10 years and I would not go back if you paid me. The lack of consideration for patient needs and the quality of care is very poor. Communication and technology are handled without regard for patient needs or ease of use. The equipment they use for sleep studies is unreliable and poorly maintained. Terrible office, terrible doctor. Avoid!

Office is totally disorganized, and the billing department has no clue. I gave them my insurance information. Was billed. A week later asked again for this information, and then a week after that asked again. From initial appointment to finally getting a call my machine was now in, 5 months later.

Very bad. Don't bother with this sleep doctor.

Dr Slamowitz practice, The Sleepwell center, is excellent! I am a retired RN and was very impressed with the office environment, the compassionate, courteous and professional staff. Seeing bad reviews is always cause for concern however they could not have been truthful observations, the office was spotless, the staff was efficient, attentive and so polite. Dr Slamowitz did not hurry, not only answered but explained in detail any questions I had. His respiratory therapist was knowledgeable, very helpful and accommodating for any issues I had with equipment. The billing staff was easy to work with and also addressed my concerns. I would highly recommend this practice. The office was also peaceful and quiet in the wait room.

Ive been seeing Dr Slamowitz for almost the entire time Ive lived here (3yrs) & I have not one negative thing to say about him or his staff. They always respond to my calls within a day, help explain insurance copays & schedule appointments even at times squeezing me in. Dr Slamowitz has taken the time to talk with me about treatment, listened to my opinions/concerns, and made a plan of care WITH me. Im finally getting normal, restful sleep & am able to be the Mom and wife I wanted to be. I owe everything to Dr Slamowitz and his staff. I look forward to my appointments honestly. I cant recommend Dr Slamowitz enough! He has always been patient, honest, kind, very humble and happy to help. He truly is one of the most down to Earth and best doctors Ive ever had! Want to change your life for the better- go see him!

Dr. Slamowitz and his staff are unprofessional, rude, and have extremely deceitful billing practices. The office is a mess and I was forced to attend an in-person appointment in the middle of covid in order to obtain a CPAP that I had already qualified for. I would HIGHLY suggest going elsewhere

Worst practice ever. Dirty office, front end help is awful and "doctor" never gets back to you. They rarely answer their phones and you have to leave multiple messages. Rips people off by making them do more than one sleep study. Makes you attend an appointment just to re-order supplies for CPAP. Avoid this office at all costs! Terrible!

Efficient and well organized sleep facility. Technicians and medical staff knowledgeable and attentive. Dr David was very friendly. Highly recommended

Dr. Slamowitz spent quite a bit of time with me going over my problems. He was very thorough and explained things very well. He was able to get rid of my problems that I had been having for a few years. I have been very happy with my experience.

Dr. Slamowitz is a doctor who actually will take the time and listen to you as well as guide you to proper treatment. I'm amazed that I don't have long waits like other places. They get to know you and not just push you through their office. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had a very good experience at my first appointment! The staff at the front desk was very friendly. I felt comfortable asking questions and sharing my health history with Dr Slamowitz. I intend to continue visiting Dr Slamowitz for my health care.

Dr. Slamowitz has zero "bedside" manner. He rarely makes eye contact and continuously stares at his laptop and types away at the keyboard. I'm not sure if he is typing case notes, or playing a video game since he never explains what he's entering or why. What I got were a lot of expensive tests with no resolution to my sleep issues. I would have saved a lot of money by just going to Walgreens and buying a box of Breathe Right nose strips.

Slamowitz provided poor sleep guidance and his deceitful billing procedures gave me many sleepless nights. What a nightmare!

Dr. Slamowitz is personable, professional, and compassionate in his diagnostic arena. He put me at ease even though he had to tell me my problem was severe. He answered my questions as well as my husband's questions. I give him my highest recommendation. His staff is the best of the best! Dr. Slamowitz recommended I have a sleep study and this was accomplished the very next night. His respiratory therapist, Steve, was excellent, thorough, and put me at ease immediately.
