I was blessed to have had Dr. Stevens 25 years ago when I was a student at San Jose State I got very sick. He basically saved my life with his valley fever research. At the time I was one of his youngest case studies and I'm grateful for all he did for me those years. It has not been easy, but I have a wife and 3 kids and I'm not sure if that would have happen without Dr. Stevens and his team. So as things are crazy today with all the Covid-19 infectious disease talk, I think of Dr. Steven and countless number of students he has tought and how they may be serving somewhere in the county.
