consider myself very fortunate to have Dr. Straker as my psychiatrist. He's everything a patient could ask for and more. Not only is Dr, Straker extremely knowledgeable in his field, he also has a kind and comforting bedside manner which allows me to be completely honest with him and not hold back. Dr. Straker is absolutely wonderful. He is extremely warm, compassionate, knowledgable, and thoughtful. He has been so helpful to me over the past year or so, and my anxiety and depression has become much more manageable. He is extemely responsive; he really listens to what I have to say, answers all of my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly, and truly cares about my well-being. I feel that I am in such good hands. I’d recommend Dr. Straker to anyone!

Dr. Straker is a compassionate yet realistic psychotherapist. He never tells me anything but the bottom line. I always feel better after consulting with him and feel blessed that I have the privilege of being one of his patients.

Great doctor. Changed my life, when I was struggling with crippling anxiety and always depressed. He was never judgmental, always understanding, gave me personal, practical and medical ways to deal with a variety of struggles I was going through. He has made me a better person for my wife, kids and friends and I can't more highly recommend him.

I have been seeing Dr. Straker since 2008. He is very knowledgable and personable. He has a strong understanding of how mental health issues and physical issues interact. He is very patient and is able to explain things to me in an easy to understand way. And he is insightful in a way that always makes me feel better about myself. I highly recommend Dr. Staker.

Dr. Straker is an amazingly caring physician. He is extremely trustworthy, helpful, kind and compassionate. He has helped me overcome some extreme obstacles, and I could never thank him for all he has done. I have struggled with intense physical and emotional pain, depression and OCD. Since seeing him I have become stronger and healthier and have been able to work through a good deal of my problems. I couldn't suggest a better physician, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Straker.
