Thankful he came highly recommended. Had to do surgery, he called to check on me.

I had a complete thyroidectomy with Dr Terris in 2010 . Never had to take any pain med . Can barely see the scar and am beyond grateful that I found Dr Terris . He trains other surgeons on thyroid surgery and holds the patent on instruments he designed that are more efficient at thyroid removal. Thank you Dr Terris and Dr Baht . Very kind kind staff .

Every year when Masters Golf comes up ..Jim&I think about Dr.Terris..30 years ago when he was at Stanford ..He was Jim’s Doc for very aggressive Head &Neck Cancer..I could write a book about how FABULOUS he was with Jim&Me (Jim’s wife)30 years cancer free. Any patient that “gets” him as your Doc are in complete amazing care.

Dr. Terris is simply amazing. He made me feel at ease from the first time I met him. He is so kind, caring, and compassionate, in addition to being an excellent surgeon. He explained the parathyroid surgery and answered all my questions. He called me the night of my surgery to check on me and talk to me about what had gone on during my surgery. I needed him a few times during my recovery and he responded personally to my text messages within 15 minutes. He even called me with the biopsy results. He is truly an amazing person. I would highly recommend him and his team for any issues with your parathyroid. You will not be disappointed. Wonderful experience.

Dr. Terris is a pioneer in the field of minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery. In spite of his position as the Surgical Director of the Augusta University Thyroid/Parathyroid Center, Dr. Terris personally called me to discuss my surgery and concerns several months in advance of the surgery date. On the day prior to the surgery, he met with me and throughly explained the procedure. The day of the surgery, he met with me again regarding the procedure and to address any concerns. Dr Terris has a good bedside manner and gave me the confidence that I would have a good outcome. My post surgery has exceeded my expectations. My pain is minimal, and I am able to eat soft food. I highly recommend Dr. Terris!

Dr. Terris is by far one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. He is very thorough in the explanation of the procedure and risks. On the day of surgery his bedside manner and total care for me as a patient was phenomenal! He even called to check on me that evening. He and his staff at Augusta University are the best.

Awesome Doctor! I was 39 and never had any kind of surgery before. After discover of a 3.5 cm nodule on my thyroid , I was scared to death until I found Dr Terris online. His office staff is great. Phone calls are returned in a timely matter. And he is quick to return emails if you have questions. Day of surgery went smoothly. The hospital staff were friendly and surgery went well as expected. I had a 1 inch incision. Dr Terris gave me a call that night to check on me Dana Moncus

Dr. Terris did my thyroid surgery about 4 years ago. Dr. Terris bedside manners were remarkable! His compassion and love for his patients is truly a GOD sent. I had a very good experience. The staff are organized, efficient and professional. They answered all questions thoroughly. I never needed anything stronger than Tylenol after surgery.0

I had one parathyroid and right thyroid removed Fri AM. I returned to motel room two hrs later. Shopped shortly at Bonaventure golf and drove home Sat AM Very little pain. Church Sunday AM. Dr. Terris has great Dr office manners. Called me in room later after surgery. I would definitely recommend him.

Did my thyroid surgery and did a great job

For a woman of 72 years who has never had surgery I was stressed and overwhelmed. But when I met Dr. Terris and his team I immediately knew I was in good hands and my well being and comfortably was their main focus. As previous patients stated he has wonderful bedside manner and it is obvious he has the expertise. He gave my husband his cell number and called him when the surgery was completed. He checked up on me with a couple of days and call directly with the results of a biopsy.

Very nice and professional DR. great bed side manner he wanted and encouraged family to be there even gave out personal phone numbers to family. and personally called several days later to check up on me.
