Dr. David Thurber, DDS

Dr.Thurber removed my wisdom teeth in December. Since the procedure I've been experiencing facial numbness on the right side of my chin along with jaw pain on the same side. Dr.Thurber had me come down for testing that consisted of him dragging a Q-tip from one side to the other. I tried to tell him that he was going past where it was numb so I could tell which way it was going, but he didn't acknowledge my concerns. He's also claiming my jaw pain is caused by grinding my teeth even though the pain didn't exist before the procedure. Please sort the Google reviews by lowest and you'll see I'm not the first person he's done this too, I wish I would've before allowing him to operate on me. Also it's been nearly 4 months since my procedure and I still haven't been reimbursed after being told I would if I paid out of pocket. I tried calling Emilee to ask about the status of it and she was too busy to take my call. I spoke to the receptionist who said she didn't think it had been submitted to my insurance yet. It's been a week and a half and Emilee still hasn't returned my phone call.

First off, the ladies smile at the desk is like river a flowing through the desert. I got my wisdom teeth pulled today by doc and it was worth the wait. My mouth feels so good and its the first day. Everyone made me feel comfortable and doc did an amazing job in my mouth. Super thankful. P.S. do you sell the laugh gas? lol

Had to get my wisdom teeth out this morning and was beyond nervous. I never had any type of sedation drug before today. I walk in was called into the chair on time and was greeted with a very kind nurse who helped me every step of the way. She hook me up to the monitor and could tell I was extremely nervous. (High bp and high heart rate). She gave me nitrous to help me calm down and was very nice putting in the IV. Before I knew it the doc was in and putting the sedation meds into my iv. I asked him if he wanted me to start counting and he said not just yet your going to feel a small Itch in just a second. Before I knew it I was in the recovery room blabbing to my mom about my adventure at Dr. Thurber’s. As of now it’s been about 9 hours and I am in 0 pain at all. I’m sure that has a lot to do with the fine work of Dr. Thurber and his amazing staff.

Terrible staff, doctor doesn't care

Our child has needed oral surgery twice within the last year, and this office has been amazing. Dr. Thurber did a great job explaining things to us and the office staff has been very quick and polite with communication. There were no surprises and I’m very appreciative to everyone there.

This was my first visit to Dr. Thurber's. The office was very clean, the staff was terrific as was Dr. Thurber. I would recommend him and his staff to everyone.

Everyone is friendly, the office is beautiful, and Dr.Thurber is the best! Having worked in the dental field I have no fear but many people do. Dr.Thurber immediately puts any fears to rest. This is my second visit with him and it went just as smoothly as my first. I highly recommend him.

Highly recommend Dr Thurber! His bed side manner is so professional, informative, and so approachable. He has awesome ability to put you at ease. He was painless, from his injections to a complicated extraction. I have had three appointments and I have the utmost confidence in him.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the end of February. The office was extremely accommodating and more than pleasant to deal with. Surgery was explained in full and all of my questions were answered. Healed very quickly, highly recommend Dr. Thurber and his office.

Dr. Thurber, you lost a patient on 3 January due to the unprofessional, unempathetic, and rude attitude of your young gate keeper. I had a question to ask you and was told the only way to speak to you was through a 113.00 consultation fee. I was in the dental field during my career and wanted to ask a critical medical question regarding a procedure. With a smirk on her face I was turned away, twice. I have seen other comments about this young lady, and I wonder how much business you have lost?

I was in excruciating pain with my tooth, and unfortunately, it had to be removed. It was an emergency situation, and I had never seen Dr. Thurber before this time. He was recommended to me by another dental office. Dr. Thurber was so kind and took his lunch hour to remove my tooth. It healed beautifully, and I am now going back to him to discuss putting in an implant.

Excellent care and professionalism. Accepts insurance in order to allow those patients that are less fortunate to be cared for. Unlike the others that only care about their pockets.

If i could give this place a 0 star i would. Terrible service, the front desk receptionist is very errogant and disrespected my mother saying she wasted her time because we didn’t understand something. Waited almost an hour past my appt time then left.

Pleasantly surprised! I was very nervous going into the appointment to have a tooth extracted. Dr. Thurber was extremely friendly and spoke very softly and explained everything which made me feel very calm. His staff were also exceptional! They smiled and joked with you which also helped with being nervous. I would highly recommend this doctor/office to anyone. A little bit of a wait for the appointment but well worth it!

Listened to my issues about my 4 wisdom teeth surgery. Then continues even though I have some issues so he only takes 3 of the four. Wouldn’t. recommend based on his decisons.

Waited almost 2 hours for a consult. When I asked the front desk girl how much longer she giggled and said she had no idea. Had a tooth pulled a yr ago and had a better experience. Office has gone downhill since then. Not very professional anymore.
