I see Dr. David Truong for my colonoscopy. I also bring up another issue, hemorrhoids, which is bothering me for more than 10 years.With his advices and explanation, the results turn out very good by doing both procedures at the same time.I am feeling really lucky to have Dr. Truong taking care of my health.

I am a physician myself and highly recommend Dr Troung. I have seen him personally and I sent my wife whom another doctor tried twice to do her colonoscopy unsuccessfully. Dr Troung was able to complete her evaluation the first time. I would highly recommend him to my family and anyone looking for a skilled practitioner.

I have acid reflux but do not know exactly what causes the problem. After the first visit with Dr David Truong, his office set up the endoscopy appointment for me quickly with a very clear prepration instruction, After the endoscopy was performed, Dr. Truong informed me right away the reason of my reflux together with his report. Dr even directly called my family doctor to discuss the best treatment plan for me as soon as possible, Dr. David Truong personally called me to tell me what would be the next steps. I feel that Dr. David Truong is a very caring and compassionate doctor who spends his precious time to explain my sickness and finds way to speed up the time for me to have the medical treatment as fast as it could by using his professional medical knowledge.

My son got out of the ER on a Sunday for a gastrointestinal infection and Dr. David M. Truong went out of his way to take care of us! Our fears and worries were taken care of through his incredible expertise and caring personality. We can’t thank Dr. David M. Truong enough and are incredibly grateful for his services! We will definitely recommend him to our friends and family!

In March and April 2022, I had a colonoscopy and my wife had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy with Dr. Truong. Both procedures went very smoothly. Dr. Truong is a very knowledgeable, experienced, and caring doctor. He takes time to answer all of our questions thoroughly unlike other doctors. His staff (Thuy and Blanca) is very nice, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Truong is awesome and we highly recommend him.

What started out promising ended in disappointing. I was able to attend my first appointment and requested a exam. The request for said exam was denied by my insurance who wanted additional information from the specialist. I relayed this his staff and was told Dr. Truong would contact my insurance and to wait 3 days for a response. 2 weeks go by and I'm told same thing. Given it has been over 3 days I decided to call my insurance to verify if Dr. Truong was able to contact my insurance and they told me Dr. Truong hasn't contacted them since the initial request. I'm not sure why Dr. Truong's staff kept telling me they have contacted my insurance but it seems to me either he doesn't have the time or doesn't care. Because of this it looks like I will be going about 3 months without any sort of medicine or treatment after seeking actively trying to receive treatment. This could just be my experience but I wanted to put this out there so that this wouldn't happen to someone else.

I had a colonoscopy in May 2021. This is the second time I had colonoscopy with Dr. Truong. Both times the process went smoothly. Dr. Truong is very experienced and knowledgeable. He is very patient and care about customers. He answered every of my question thoroughly. His staff (Tina and Blanca) is very professional and friendly too. I highly recommend Dr. Truong as a Gastroenterology Specialist.

I was recommeded to Dr. Truong by my Primary doctor. My primary couldn't figure out why blood work always coming back each time with higher numbers. So, going to Dr.Truong is the best thing i've done. The reason why my blood work was always high was because my liver wasn't functioning right. I had Hepatitis C. Thanks to him, he gave me some meds that works miracles. Now I don't have hepatitis anymore. I just now need to take care of my self even better.

In 2018, I received a colonoscopy from Dr. David M. Truong. It's not easy to talk about the subject. Yet, my procedure went smooth as silk. He has an office on Warner in Fountain Valley which is where you will go for checkups, consultation, etc. The building is not fancy, but it's fine. If you have any type medical procedure done, it will take place at a very modern clinic close by. Dr. Truong sat down with me and showed me the actual images of my colon and he explained what we were looking at. He also inspected my throat (esophagus), which I was not expecting. But, I am glad he did that. He's nice and thorough. I recommend him.
