Dr. David Valauri, DDS

In January 2024, I was diagnosed with a very rare autoimmune disease and turned away by countless doctors. I found Dr. David Valauri who not only took on my case but treated me with extraordinary care. From the start, Dr. Valauri treated me like more than a patient, but rather like family. He took interest in my pain and complications, personally created a customized magic mouthwash to address my pain and called me many times to check in on me and my progress. His bedside manner is care like I have never experienced. He made himself available and provided me direct access to address any questions or issues I experienced. During our final visit, we sat for a long time and just talked. He never rushed me, answered all my questions and showed genuine concern. Doctors like him are indeed hard to find. This had to be the worst visit I have ever been to, and I am not a spring chicken. He is so condecending, unaffected and uniterested in the patient. I wouldn't go to him to have my funny bone removed. I went home and booked an appt with someone else.

Repeatedly explained the situation before booking the appt. (It’s not that complicated.) Couldn't get a consult for a while but -because I thought they understood the situation- it would be worth the wait. It wasn’t. Reception & staff were fine but the dentist is NOT a good listener. Dr Valauri was dismissive, refused to let me ask even 1 question and got rude. OH-and he ONLY does surgeries on Wednesday & is booked up for weeks & weeks. Also the X-ray they took? Very low quality. NO THANK YOU!!!
