Dr. David Weatherford, MD

Dr. Weatherford performed surgery on my carotid artery in 2012. He is an excellent surgeon and is very professional. I said, at the time, I don't need for him to be my best friend; just my best surgeon. He is a man of very few words and concentrates on your needs and well-being from a surgical point. Be happy he is your best surgeon and not your best friend! I understand his personality and, also his expertise!! Dr Weatherford is a credit to his profession!

He may not like small talk, and is straight to the point but he is a fabulous physician. I much rather have a physician who is talented and can perform skillfully than have a social visit with me. He performed surgery for my mother and the results were amazing. I would recommend him highly. He came in personally and checked on her, kept her in the hospital till she was ready physically to go home ( everyone else at the hospital was ready to send her home because she wanted to go), and because he didn't sugar coat why she needed the procedure and handled her bluntly she had no other choice than to have the procedure done. Thank you.

Dr. Weatherford & P.A. Tracy Helm are both great, so is the ultra-sound tec. Dana . Yes he did surgery on me. He and Tracy are willing to spend time with you and answer all you ever want to ask. When you talk to either one of them you are never under any stress which is common at other doctors. As for Dana the ultra-sound tec. she has to be by far the best and nicest in the business.

Originally saw dr Weatherford in2002 for AAA repair. He saved my life. Personable-caring and explains procedures/options in detail. Doesn’t sugarcoat the issues at hand. I continue to f/u with him currently and would trust him with my family . May god bless this man. Eric/Terry Hughes

Bedside manner is rude Unwilling to answer questions Not impressed

I waited two hours, but it was worth it. He listened to me and did not rush me. He didn't just write a prescription and send me out the door. I got better care than I expected and appreciated him taking time with me. I believe he runs late because he cares and is really trying to help people.

I was referred to Dr. Weatherford for a AAA aneurysm. Saw Dr. At first visit then saw PA. After several years of ultrasound visits Dr. Weatherford informed me that I needed surgery. I had CT scan , went to cardiologist for clearance. After reviewing the CT scan, Dr. Weatherford informed me I could not have the surgery for several reasons. I have since been to two surgeons , one who saw no problem with my having surgery and a second who will perform the surgery on May 25th this year.

Dr. Weatherford assisted in my surgery a few weeks back. I had a follow up appointment. He came in, did not do any thing to me, and did not ask me any questions. He told me I need to schedule a ultrasound. Nothing that happened at my appointment today could not be accomplished over the phone. Also, the front desk lady was rude. As I introduced my self she interrupted me told me to sign in and sit down. When I asked if she wanted my paperwork she said no she had too much paperwork alread

I cancelled a procedure with him due to his lack of sharing of information. He never once touched me or interacted with my husband and I. His PA was more informative than him...BUT he is the doctor. Very disappointing
