Dr Weimer’s been my physician for years. I trust him totally. He’s both knowledgeable and caring. He did a TJR on my hip over 5 years ago. This was my 4th surgery at Yo. Orthopedic. Dr Weimer performed a right knee total replacement. He did not disappoint, an outstanding experience. I'm 80 and recovery was well planned and supported. I'm further today in my recovery than my expectations. The incision is incredibly light like a faint pencil mark. This is 18 days after the surgery. Therapy has been excellent and professional but all therapy is difficult, no surprise to me.I would highly recommend Yo Orthopedic and Dr Weimer for a knee replacement.

Dr. Weimer did my TKR in November . He did everything he could to make sure it was a success. He’s very caring about the well being of his patient. I have nasty osteoarthritis and was in a great deal of pain. Dr Weimer was so professional yet encouraging at my consultation. After looking at my X-rays, he said the only treatment would be a total hip replacement. He put me on his schedule 12 days later! I had an epidural, surgery went well, and after surgery I had less pain than I’d had in a year. Dr Weimer came to see me in my room at Southwoods the day of surgery. He was very pleased with the surgery. I stayed at Southwoods for 3 days so that my Medicare would pay for rehab. By the second day of rehab at Orchards of East Liverpool I was able to switch from walker to cane. By the 3rd day I was off pain meds. I went back for my 2 week checkup, was already able to walk a bit without my cane. I highly recommend Dr Weimer to everyone!

I had a R Total Knee Replacement on August 22, 2024, which Dr Weimer did. I could not have asked for a better knee surgeon! I had several problems--lipidema, lymphedema, a torn meniscus, and a leaking Baker's cyst. Dr Weimer took all that on, replacing my knee. I had an uneventful recovery period and am without pain for the first time in a long time! I'm having my left knee replacement surgery done in January. Dr Weimer listens and explains and answers any questions. He is gentle and kind, and you can't do better than Dr Weimer for knee surgery.

Before surgery the pain in my knee was a screaming 10 on the medical pain scale for nearly 2 years. The bones were out of line. Dr Weimer fixed that. What a miracle! From the presurgery office visit to post surgery visits, he has been wonderful and very helpful. The office staff are friendly, courteous, helpful - I can’t say enough about all of them.

Dr. Weimer replaced both of my hips a year apart and since then I have been totally pain-free. I just went for a follow up and everything is in place and perfect. He’s an amazing orthopedic surgeon.
