I had a reverse total shoulder replacement surgery a little over two weeks ago. A friend who had had the same operation a couple of years ago highly recommended Dr. Whitney. Then another friend who had been in a bad motorcycle accident also gave him glowing ratings, as did the friend's daughter who also had to be put back together. From the first appointment to the surgery to the follow-up appointment, I have been completely satisfied. Dr. Whitney has a compassionate bedside manner, a talent for surgery, and what I would call a "healing disposition." Though I still have some physical therapy mountains to climb, they seem to be only small ones. Highly recommend!

Yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Whitney to family and friends. I was greeted at Tri-State by a very kind and friendly young man. After filling out several forms, I was immediately called back on time for my appointment by an exceptional nurse. Next, I had X-rays of my leg. The technician was cognitive of my leg discomfort, and did everything possible to make me comfortable and still get the tests completed. Then, I returned to the exam room, and was promptly seen by a nurse practitioner. She was thorough in her exam, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Next, Dr. Whitney came in the exam room. He was warm, and friendly. He had a calm and confident manner which immediately lessened my anxiety. He thoroughly explained the X-rays. He told me I needed and MRI which they will do at this office within a week! Then I see another MD who specializes in spine and back issues. Dr. Whitney is definitely an expert in his field. Excellent!

Dr Whitney is a true blessing. I was in extreme pain in my right knee from October to December. Several Drs said it was my arthritis flaring, but I knew it wasn’t arthritis. I was able to see Dr Whitney at the end of December and as soon as he looked at the MRI he could see a torn maniacus and other problems that needed cleaned up. 2 days later I was in the hospital getting the relief I needed. The relief was immediate. After several weeks of rehab Dr Whitney released me on February 21. I highly recommend Dr Whitney. He’s the best.
