Dr, Yingling is a pleasant and thoughtful practitioner. During my visits with him, he was not rushed, listened to me and interacted with me. He carefully reviewed my MRI scans and was frank about my condition. At the conclusion of my second visit, he did not rush to surgery and frankly told me he could not assure me that surgery would answer my problems. He suggested an alternative procedure and asked me if I would like to try that and I answered affirmatively. I always feel good after our visits.

Recent visit was to schedule Mri. I totally trust this doctor. He did my brain surgery and i never wish to chance another dr. He's the best!

Dr Yingling, although a fine surgeon, I wish was more personable. This was my fourth visit to his office which included a post op assessment. Dr Yingling’s patient nurse never introduces her somber self. I leave the office thinking there should be a sign over the door that says “Indifference served here”.

Dr. Yingling was very informative. I felt I received straightforward care.

Follow up appointment after surgery

With a complex issue as I have it was good to see a person who ensures all issues are explored before any suggestion for surgery. Jumping into problems before all data is available can result in a bad outcome which is why he is exceptional.

Very Attentive!! Explains everything!! Any questions? Just ask, he Will take time to answer each & every question..Dr Yingling has performed Cervical & Lumbar Spine Surgeries on me, I would Not Recommend Anyone else But him!! What he says, you can take it to the bank…the people I’ve recommended him to, were so pleased with their outcome, others also recommended him..

This is a great neurosurgeon. Cape neurosurgical associates gives you the best care. They have two of the most caring surgeons. I saw Dr. Yingling after I had surgery in the hospital. His partner was out of town that weekend, so D.r Yingling kept check on me while he was gone. He was very nice and had a great bedside manner. Both doctor's there are the best neurosurgeons. Their nurses and staff are also great and caring people.

Don't see him for Chiari Malformation. When you're symptoms are worse after surgery, he'll fire you as a patient, passing you off to a neurologist, claiming it's "just a headache". Turns out it was a failed surgery only discovered after getting a second opinion.
