Dr Mitchell gets 5 stars the NP 1 star
Dr. Mitchell is wonderful. I brought my daughter in, she has had cancer, has lupus and numerous other ailments that cause excuriating pain, everything was great until the visit we saw a NP who didn’t listen, kept talking over her, she left crying because after waiting to find a great dr she thought she had it until she saw the NP.Truly sad ppl live in agony, go here for help and the NP can’t be bothered to even pretend to hear people out. Dr. Mitchell deserves support staff as wonderful as him and HIS PATIENTS MOST ASSUREDLY DO

Dr. Mitchell is a very caring professional doctor. He made me feel completely at ease and his services worked for me. I felt he was thorough. I have nothing negative to say about him just praise. I have been going to him for 4 years.

This man has literally saved my life. In reading other reviews, I agree that the wait times are longer than usual but that is my only complaint. As a nurse, I realize that Dr. Mitchell has to work within the governmental parameters set forth for this type of practice. I have lupus, which causes excruciating pain throughout the body, but I also have back and neck pain. Governmental policies state he has to show that he is treating the back and neck pain in order to continue treating my other pain. This has got to be the most caring physician I have ever had the privilege of knowing. One example of how well he cares for his patients is when my sister was using him for her severe back pain. She had absolutely no disc left in her spine. He did everything he could to keep her as comfortable as possible. Then she developed pancreatic cancer. When she passed away, this man took off and came to her viewing. If that does not show how much he cares, then I'm not sure what would.

The wait times are ridiculous!!! You see the doc your first 1 apt maybe even your 2nd if you're lucky. After that, you'll see an NP who is ALWAYS running behind even if you're the first apt. On average we are there 1.5-2.5hrs for f/u apt and procedures. When asked to see a new NP we were told we had to discuss with current NP and they will determine if we can do that. When expressed how one med (been on for years) works but need to increase mg due to not lasting as long, a new med was added in, told NP it didn't work so they tried a different one. Told them that one didn't work and I'm looked at like a junkie. I know what works for me and just because one works for someone else doesn't mean it works for me. Been told can't work neck until back shots are done, yet we've done 6 series one side at a time and both sides at once and I still 'need' more. They aren't working and my neck has yet to be looked at outside of an MRI. No issues with doc at this time but some staff need to be fired.

My senior citizen mother is in a detox hospital right now because of this poor excuse of a human being! He has been prescribing her SERIOUS narcotics for years! Now she is fighting for her life. He is running a pill mill and can’t be shut down soon enough!

Cares nothing for human life nor the suffering of his patients. Tried to push me, an educated professional, into social security disability by not managing the pain in my lumbar degenerative disc facet disease nor my thoracic spondylosis. Only cared about the injections, that did not work, and the enormous rates he charged my BCBS. In a three year period I saw NPs and other staff come and go because of his cruelty and selfish acts over his employees. He is a man of medicine, and takes an oath of ethics, yet will not allow his employees and staff the opportunity of health insurance. Completely disgusting and lowest form of a human being, likened to that of a slavery mentality.

This poor excuse for a human and even poorer excuse for a Dr ran an office that when I was there was pure chaos and overlooks until waiting times of over 3 hours were the norm rather than the exception. Example of his treatment patients he would cut a person on pain medications off without any consideration of effect on patient I’m surprised he hasn’t killed someone with his high handed methods. I’m just glad he’s not my Dr anymore and I pity anyone still under his “care”. BTW he doesn’t care.

My wife's doctor-who we seldom see, instead see a nurse practitioner. Procedures seem to relieve pain for only a couple of days, treatment is usually opioids, muscle relaxers, etc. prescribed monthly. Not reassuring to have to tell nurse what was prescribed since info was entered incorrectly into her records. Staff not very cooperative, seldom return calls in a timely manner, and don't forward medical records-had to pick up records myself and send to new doctor after waiting 3 weeks.
